Executes operating orders and/or switching procedures/programs for 380KV, 132KV, 33KV and 13.8KV substation power equipment.
•Emergency switching and restoration of substation power equipments as a result of abnormal operating condition encountered.
•Improve voltages profiles and increase transfer capacity of network equipments
•Minimize downtime shutdown of substation equipments and T/L circuits which affect consumers and network.
•Provide safety operational tasks that prolong the life of transmission/substation equipments.
•Attending emergency calls of ECC for tripping, alarms and indication analysis of substation equipments, U/G and OHL circuits.
•Isolation and restoration of transmission network equipment with system voltages of 380kV, 230kV, 132kV, 33kV & 13.8kV and circuits
•Commissioning of new substation and synchronization with the existing Network.
•Issuance of documents provided in the safety on persons working on substation as well as the substation equipment’s.
•SCADA commissioning for alarms, commands, indications and measurements of 380kV/132kV/33KV/13.8kV new substations
Executes operating orders and/or switching procedures for load shedding, power interruptions, synchronization, substation equipment and line testing and local load dispatching.
•Participates in the preventive maintenance or repair of substation and transmission line facilities.
•Make design memoranda, correspondence and technical reports covering field inspection, trips to projects under investigation and/or construction.
•Conduct meter reading to various power customer of National Power Corporation.
Participates in the construction and commissioning of Dubai Electrification Project DUB 253 (DEWA) of the following Gas Insulated Switchgear Substations:
•400/132 kV GIS at G- Station
•400/132 kV GIS at Nahjma Station
•400/132 kV GIS at Al-Mushrif Station
