My achievements include:
· Improved rental packaging scan accuracy from 50.6% to 96.6%, maintaining a positive monthly cost recovery.
· Achieved zero short shipments to OEM customers in 2017.
· Achieved 99.4% WIP material availability, and 99.5% finished goods packaging availability.
· Efficient cost control of department expenses, saving R406 000 versus budget.
· Successfully managed annual stock take achieving a material value gain of R18 100 on stock valued at R33.4m in
controlled warehouses.
· Maintained a zero warehouse incident and accident record.
· Developed and implemented Standard Operating Procedures to achieve zero internal and external audit

I was responsible for managing the performance of local thick and thin wall stamping suppliers; managing local transport contracts and optimise supply of packaging.

My achievements included:
· Negotiated and introduced a local 3PL transport contract resulting in an R1m per annum cost saving.
· Successfully relocated 26 metal pressing tools without affecting customer supply.
· Identified and compiled a proposal to resource a forged and CNC machined exhaust flange with the goal of
resolving an ongoing supply problem.

My day-to-day responsibilities included:
· Monitor supplier and part information to ensure correct ordering, invoicing and cost control.
· Manage supplier performance and pilot corrective actions to maintain Parts-per-Million (PPM) targets.
· Participate in customer audits.
· Prioritise local resolution of issues and escalate when necessary.
· Identify and drive localisation of imported components.
