· Improved rental packaging scan accuracy from 50.6% to 96.6%, maintaining a positive monthly cost recovery.

· Efficient cost control of department expenses, saving R406 000 versus budget.

controlled warehouses.
· Maintained a zero warehouse incident and accident record.
· Developed and implemented Standard Operating Procedures to achieve zero internal and external audit
findings.
My day-to-day responsibilities include:
· Oversee inventory movement; eliminate obsolete and off-spec material, and reduce ageing material.
· Ensure compliance with organisational Quality and Environmental Management Policies.
· Maintain and continuously improve Kanban system.
· Ensure compliance with security procedures and protocols to reduce risk of loss.

· Negotiated and introduced a local 3PL transport contract resulting in an R1m per annum cost saving.
· Successfully relocated 26 metal pressing tools without affecting customer supply.
· Identified and compiled a proposal to resource a forged and CNC machined exhaust flange with the goal of
resolving an ongoing supply problem.
My day-to-day responsibilities included:
· Monitor supplier and part information to ensure correct ordering, invoicing and cost control.
· Manage supplier performance and pilot corrective actions to maintain Parts-per-Million (PPM) targets.
· Participate in customer audits.
· Prioritise local resolution of issues and escalate when necessary.
· Identify and drive localisation of imported components.

· Identify and implement localisation and cost savings opportunities.
· Analyse supplier price adjustments to assess commercial implication of change, and negotiate improved prices.
