• Receiving and maintaining all drawings including Plot Plan, Isometric, P&ID, Pipe Support Details, Piping General Arrangement, Route Survey and Alignment Sheet from Client/Consultants.
• Preparing of Method Statement (MS), Material Approval (MA) as per Client Specification.
• Liaising with Company or Project Purchasing Department to ensure that purchase orders adequately define the specified requirements.
• Ensuring timely submittal of materials for approval and check every item of works according to Shop Drawings, Specifications and Standards.
• Coordinates and Supports with HSE department in preparing Task Risk Assessment (TRA).
• Coordinates with Planning Department in arranging of Machinery, Materials and Manpower.
• Liaising with the Project Planning Engineer regarding construction programmer.
• Working according to ADNOC, TRANSCO, GASCO and Borouge Permit to work (PTW) Standards & HSE policy.
• Coordinates and Issues required permit to work from the client.
• Ensures Tool Box talks are conducted mainly with day’s step by step activities, hazards and its precautions in line with HSE requirements before work start-up.
• Assists to all Workforce, Operators, Technicians, Foreman, Supervisor, and Senior Engineers in supervising, counselling and recommend improvements to design and Construction activities if any.
• Travel to the site to analyze and maintain efficient relationships with all personnel.
• Monitoring construction process from all aspects to ensure performance meets job quality by company procedures and International/Client standards especially with ASME B31.3, ASME B31.4, & ASME B31.8
• Ensures that all Construction activities are completed in a safe, efficient and cost- effective manner.
• Analyze team performance against schedule and report/advise any changes required to maintain progress to line management.
• Working with Quality control following Procedures, Quality plans and Inspection and Test Plans, all prepared by the project management team and by subcontractors.
• Familiarize subordinates with the approved documents in areas of Construction, QA/QC, HSE, Standards and Specifications.
• Job reviewing of subordinate staff.
• Coordinating the activities of Subcontractors.
• Coordinating with Third Party Inspection Agencies.
• Resolving technical issues with Employer’s representatives, Suppliers, Subcontractors.
• Providing data in respect of variation orders and site instructions.
• Liaise with other disciplines to ensure work fronts are available as required and participate in review meetings by project requirements
• Line checking to verify the use of correct material fittings, valves, and supports before the hydro test and prepare punch list for incomplete works.
• Coordinating with Blasting, Painting, Coating and Holiday Testing technician of erected piping/pipeline systems.
• Coordinating with Hydro Testing and Pneumatic Testing Technician of erected piping/pipeline systems.
• Look at initiatives to improve the work within pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Ensure commissioning area is controlled, all energized systems marked and barricaded off, access control in place, SIMOPS carefully assessed and controlled.
• Maintain and enforce housekeeping and hygiene standards inside the construction areas.
• Be continually present on the field to guarantee the quality and progress of the work.
• Preparing Record drawings, Technical Reports and Site Diary.
• Daily progress and weekly progress report mailing to Management.
• Receiving and maintaining the all Isometric drawings from Client.
• Setting out the works in accordance with the drawings and specification.
• Quality control in accordance with procedures method statements, quality plans and inspection and test plans, all prepared by the project management team and by subcontractors.
• Observance of safety requirements.
• Resolving technical issues with employer’s representatives, suppliers, subcontractors and statutory authorities.
• Supervising and counseling the Technicians (Welders, Fabricators and Fitters)
• Providing data in respect of variation orders and site instructions.
• Preparing record drawings, technical reports, site diary.
• Daily progress and weekly progress report mailing to Management.
• Job review of subordinate staff.
• Oversees installation and maintenance operations.
• Provide assistance to all senior engineers and recommend improvements to all design and travel to site to analyze all equipment and maintain efficient relation with all plant personnel.
• Issue required permit to work from client.
• Supervise and inspection of cold and hot insulation on piping and equipment.
• Check flow direction arrows on valves and verify valves are installed in accordance with flow direction.
• Ensure that pipe supports, guides and hangers have installed in accordance with the piping drawing and pipe support details.
• Line check to verify the use of correct material fittings, valves, and supports prior to hydro test and prepare punch list for incomplete works, check and closing after work is done.
• Monitoring construction process from all aspects to ensure performance meets job quality and design requirements in accordance with Company procedures and international standards.
• Technical analysis of incidents and reporting to senior management.
• Analysis of repetitive equipment failures.
• Estimation of maintenance costs and evaluation of alternatives.
• Forecasting of materials including spare parts, tools, maintenance equipment.
• Assessing required skills required for maintenance personnel.
• Assessing and reporting safety hazards associated with the maintenance of equipment.
• Assessing the needs for equipment replacements and establish replacement programs when due.
• Application of scheduling and project management principles to replacement programs.
• Reviewing personnel transfers to and from maintenance organizations.
• Assure optimization of the maintenance organization structure.
