• Site monitoring to ensure policy, procedures, regulation and good practice are complied.

• Carries out daily site surveys to ensure: only safe work methods are in operation, adequate fire and fall protection are in place, adequate welfare and first aid facilities are properly maintained, approved tools are being used and sufficient Personal Protective Equipment provided and properly worn.
• Closely monitors scaffold erection / dismantling work, permit-required confined space entries, crane work / lifting operations, hot work and similar hazardous activities and. ensures that all relevant requirements are complied with.
• Checks and ensures compliance of site work-force with the approved Safe Work Permit System / Procedure in accordance with local regulation imposed.
• Participates at Corporate / Project-developed Safety Training / Incentive and Awareness Programs; attends safety meetings with the client / other builders.

• Oversee the construction of United Olefins Complex Project /Jubail United Petrochemical Complex Project (JUPC) a 12Billion US Dollar Project.
• Areas of Assignment: Ground Flare, Utilities and Erection of 1 Km Pipe Rack, Sub Stations, Remote control Building, Instrument Line, MEP erection, Deaerator and Boilers.
• Had contributed to the successful completion of United Olefins Complex Project/ Jubail United Petrochemical Complex Project (JUPC)- SABIC /FLUOR ARABIA LIMITED. My company, MOHAMMAD AL-MOJIL GROUP had achieved 31 Million safe worked hours without lost time injury wherein I am the assigned HSE Engineer in construction stage and during the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of the projects.
• Moreover our company contributed more than 31 Million Safe Worked Hours without Lost Time Injury to the JUPC‘s (Jubail United Petrochemical Company) project wide achievement of 51 million safe worked hours without lost time injury. MMG had received numerous safety excellence performance awards for this project.
• Conduct safety training / seminar needed by employees for the development of their HSE performance relevant to each employees discipline or nature of work. In addition to the general requirement of HSE ORIENTATION for every employee, I am conducting the following trainings in all our company’s project and facilities: a) Scaffoldings b) Fire watches Training c) Rigging

• Supervised the HSE implementation in the project specifically lifting, excavation, work at height, scaffolding erection, equipment inspection, work place condition, reports, etc.
• Provides technical assistance to office and field operations to ensure compliance with applicable international, federal, state and company HSE regulations.
• Lead and conducts compliance evaluation of equipment, structures and work in progress to ensure that regulatory environmental, safety and health standards of the organization and all applicable codes are followed.
• Serves as a resource for the line management to develop and administer a proactive prevention program for accidents and illness.
• Assure contractors are adhering to agreed HSSE policies.
• Regularly present HSSE related topics and safety meetings to workers to encourage awareness.
• Participate and lead job planning activities, including Permit to Work, Risk Assessment and hazard recognition.
• Conduct monthly self-verification reviews of key HSSE systems.
• Assure incidents are properly investigated and lessons learned are embedded.
• Communicate pertinent best practices, lessons learned, safety and environmental alerts to all staffs.
• Support behaviour based safety observation programs by coaching and identifying areas for improved safety behaviour and practices.
• Promote and publicise the company’s dedication to HSE to clients, external groups and within the organization.
