Understanding the Client and Project Management Team post contract requirements and resolving on daily basis in close coordination’s by providing technical supports.
Liaise with Design Team whenever the Client and Lead Architects require post contract design packages.
Assisting Design Team in preparation of variation orders and design packages by collecting all the Client and Lead Architect requirements, also providing site status update to the Designers for their consideration in post contract stages.
Preparing technical narrative and commercial proposal for all post contract requirements and coordinating with client for Engineer Representative Instruction (or) Variation approval.
Evaluating Contractors post contract cost claims in coordination with Project Cost Consultants and raising Variation Approval Forms.
Monitoring Contractor work progress at site and comparing with Project Program, notifying the Contractors on timely basis if any delays occurred.
Managing contractual requirements by responding to all Contractors correspondence / queries on timely basis.
Managing and organizing Site Inspection Team in approving delivered materials, installations, mock ups, plant rooms, equipment and systems. Attending major inspections and assisting the team whenever detailed technical supports required.
Sharing the technical knowledge and arranging brain storming session with Site Inspectors for their growth and resolving issues / concerns raised during inspections.
Liaise with local authorities for design drawing approvals, permits, payments, physical site inspections and approval follow-ups, obtaining building completion certificates.
Reviewing of tender stage design drawings, schematics, project specifications, tender clarifications, project bid documents to understand the project design intent and client requirements.
Reviewing contractors Technical submittals, Shop drawings, Coordination drawings, Method statements, Inspection test plans in design and execution aspects considering local authority regulations, codes, standards, project specifications and manufacturer recommendations
Assuring system and product quality by evaluating manufacturer’s fabrication methods, assembly procedures, factory test methods, installation guidelines against codes and standards; applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics and material science.
Maintaining product and company reputation by complying with government regulations, preparing product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Provides engineering support / information to contractors by answering questions and requests.
Monitoring the contractor’s installations periodically and raising Non Conformation Reports for deviations.
Witnessing and approving of factory test, adjusting, balancing, testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
Reviewing of project handover documents like as built drawings, operations and maintenance manual, authority approvals, taking over procedures and training manuals.
Assisting contractor for trouble shooting and fixing of unexpected problems in products and systems.
Progressive payment certifications review and approvals.
Reviewing of tender stage design drawings, schematics, project specifications, tender clarifications, project bid documents to understand the project design intent and client requirements.
Assisting client / project management team by providing bill of quantities, technical supports and technical meetings. Reviewing post contract documents, project program and deadlines.
Developing workable mechanical and electromechanical systems by understanding client / end user requirements and project compatibility in close coordination with product / system manufacturers.

Preparing two weekly look ahead programs and monitoring the work flow against the program.
Assisting the Site engineers / supervisors for preparing the BOM (Bill of materials) for complete project as
per ‘For Construction’ and ‘Approved Shop’ drawings
Managing site engineer and supervisors on timely basis and monitoring the work progress.

Assigning job responsibilities for execution team and providing / controlling resources.
Material procurement and delivery schedule preparation, follow-up of materials delivery with suppliers.
Assisting the drafting personnel for preparing the Builders work drawings, Shop drawings, MEP Co-
ordination drawing and as-built drawings.
Intake the necessary inputs and coordination’s from Design, QS, Purchase, Safety, Commissioning and
Maintenance departments for successful work completion.
Progress monitoring, Site walk arounds, quality inspection, project supervision along with the respective
trade engineer teams. Conducting internal meetings and directing teams towards the goal.
Coordinating with various project departments like contracts, procurement, drafting, execution, accounts,
QS, QA & QC, safety and Testing and commissioning.
Raising RFIs (Request for Information), submitting site inspections for MEP installation, obtaining
equipment & installation testing approvals from consultant.
Controlling the material movements in coordinating store keepers.
Assisting execution teams with ongoing execution issues and resolving in coordination with project teams.
Obtaining work permit and conducting safety audits.
Preparing method of statements and training technicians and workers on regular basis
Training the junior engineers and drafting team for organization development.
