• Coordinate with purchase to follow up for the production material
• Review production & project plan and ensure all the progress on stage
• Reporting stage wise production, fitup & welding to manager
• Follow up with subcontractor for the material requirements for production
• Arrange QC for the subcontractor to inspect the product
• Coordinate with client for the drawing approval & material approval if in need
• Ensure that all the Health & safety procedures are maintained and followed.
• Review daily production against total fit up and welding joints
• Proactively building, developing and maintaining relationship with all members
• Disciplining Employees when it required.
• Communicating information to staff and supervisor in a professional manner
• Coordinate with QC to release the product
• Coordinate with painting and follow up for the product
• Directing manpower logistics and packing of the product
• Arrange transportation and plan to dispatch the product
• Assisting General Manager in Operational in Planning and execution of work related duties in Machine shop
• Directing Supervisors/Engineer, QC Engineers for Shift wise work Allocation.
• Assisting Supervisor in allocating Job machine wise
• Manpower Management in assisting Employees towards the work and daily production.
• Ensure that all the Health & safety procedures are maintained and followed.
• Review Daily production Plan vs. Actual to identify the problem of Failure.
• Identify Actual root cause for failures, take corrective & Preventive Actions
• Proactively building, developing and maintaining relationship with all members
• Disciplining Employees when it required.
• Communicating information to staff and supervisor in a professional manner
• Assisting Staffs, operators and supervisors with their need, questions, Problems and Complaints.
• Review machine Complaints and summarize the monthly, weekly and daily complaints of machines to maintenance department.
• Schedule a month wise preventive maintenance for machines.
• Coordinate with manufacturing for new product development.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to find the tooling issues.
• Coordinate with tool room engineer to make the effective usage of tooling Inserts and consumption.
• Report monthly production, consumption, rejections, kaizens & Continuous Improvements against the target in the form of monthly report to Management.
• Conduct Internal Audit & Housekeeping Audit with my staff and supervisors to maintain system, procedure and good working environment.
• Conduct Shop floor meeting on encouraging employees, discuss problems.
• Review with QA functions for an effective Corrective action & preventive actions against rejections.
• Lead QC Engineer to perform process control charts, Process Capability etc..
• Coordinate with Meteorology team for Instrument, Gauge status and any new instruments usage and training.
• Assisting in the recruitment, training and development of staff.
• Assisting Maintenance, manufacturing & Machine shop to review month wise performance in the month wise department review meeting.
