Key Result Areas:
• Managing entire plant smooth operation by ensuring safety, productivity and quality
• Leading multiple areas of tasks pertaining to production & process engineering and yield performance
• Heading the team for achieving appropriate off machine yield of 97% and Net saleable yield of 97.5%
• Ensuring safe workplace by authorizing work permits, LOTO, SMAT audit, OSAs and SHEARO reports (reduced minor safety near miss incidents not more than 2 per month)
• Liaising with AM/PM Team to improve reliability and availability by reducing downtime and line stoppages (Plant reliability 96.5%)
• Addressing and resolving process related issues in Calcination, Board plant and Dryer by using WCM problem solving tools
• Registering reduced deviation in product quality by coordinating with QC Department - ensuring the same by using Plant performance management tools
• Using In4.O benefits in shop floor and guiding the operators to identify the root cause
• Arranging effective training and meeting with union operators, contract employees related to safety and productivity
• Leading successful plant trials and new product development trials based on customer requirement and quality assurance
• Supervising process conditions & equipment performance using SCADA and PPMS, coordinating with technical team to resolve issues
• Documenting IN4.O, SAP, Daily/Shift reports, IMS, Safety incident tracking, AM job list assurance and tracking
• Targeting zero liquid discharge by complete utilization of waste water generated in the plant using ETP, STP
