1. To form a joint venture company (Natural Stones Company W.L.L.) with one of the oldest business house in Qatar, Al Darwish United Company W.L.L.
2. To promote the business of the company in the field of Marble & Granite (Trading & Turnkey projects)
3. To be responsible for the profit and loss of the company.
4. To be responsible for the budgeting of the company and monitoring the performance of the company-budget vs actual.
5. To develop new clients by meeting various building contractors, consultants, designers etc.
6. Oversee the tendering and the estimation of the projects.
7. Responsible for the import of Marble & Granite from all over the world.
8. Responsible for sourcing new suppliers in various countries. Visiting them for price negotiation and inspection.
9. Leading a team of sales executives, project managers, architects, engineers for the execution of the projects.
Over a period of 3 years, the company became a major player in the field of Marble & Granite with volume of business shot up from zero to almost QR 60 Million/year with a total work force of around 200 people.

From February 1999 to September 1999
Joined Dhofar Marble & Granite Company as General Manager. It was one of the largest marble & Granite Manufacturing Plant in Oman over an area of 40, 000m2. The company was involved in manufacturing of Marble & Granite tiles, slabs from its own marble quarries as well as blocks imported from India, Portugal & Turkey with its most modern Italian plant.
