Responsibility:
• Talent Acquisition strategy - Work closely with BU Heads and HRBP to identify critical roles to the business and develop an acquisition plan to attract and source quality talent - Drive end-to-end talent acquisition solutions in line with business growth plans - Ensuring all recruiting practices is in compliance with applicable local employment laws and AWR recruitment policy. - Implemented all pre-hiring process including Psychometric Test, Aptitude Test, BGV (background verification check) in AWR for smooth on-boarding with right talent.
• Stakeholder and Account management - Work closely with HRBP and line managers to ensure there is a good understanding of business needs and potential - Ensure regular performance review with stakeholders to ensure business expectations are met - Provide a full consultative service to line managers with regards to the talent acquisition process
• Manpower planning and forecasting - Generate a Hiring Schedule to address manpower planning and management with HRBP and BU Heads - Drive a proactive fulfilment of manpower business requirements through developing extensive network in the market and knowledge of the industry.
• Internal Talent Acquisition - Identify and assess internal potential for business requirement - Collaborate with other departments to ensure high potential talent within the group are considered for new roles.
• Analysis and Reporting - Maintain regular and accurate metrics to assess talent acquisition process and performance Encourage continuous improvement through regular review of metrics and SLAs.
• On boarding - Work with Talent Coordinators and on-boarding staff to deliver efficient, quality services and high standards of customer service.

Achievements:
• Totally revamped the recruitment department and one of the first issues I addressed was to reduce the recruitment agency cost. Before I joined AWR they spent around 2-3 million Dirhams per year on recruitment agencies. In my first year onwards, I reduced the amount to zero and sustained for last 10 years.
• I have recruited 3500 plus Automotive Talents for the group of which 10% of strategic roles and 20% of support functions and 70% of Productive roles from (C-suits to most junior blue-collar roles). In 2023 it was 400 plus roles including new dealer principles (Chery/Zeekr - EV/Smart - EV/ JBM Buses) and the existing flagship brands like Nissan, Infiniti and Renault. I myself headhunted the complete requirements including MD’s / Directors / CEO / GM’s / Head of Departments, Group CRM, Group Treasurer, Group Financial Controller, Group Head Procurement, F&I, several group roles in IT Development and Support roles, AWR properties, AWR real estate, Logistics, Fright Forwarding, Lighting Solutions, Manufacturing etc. using our In-house recruitment system Taleo, LinkedIn, Naukrigulf, networking and various social media platforms.
• Conducted number of recruitment campaigns and hired over 1000 candidates of different nationalities including Sri Lankans, Indians, Pakistanis, Ghanaians, Kenyans, Ethiopians, Zimbabweans, Nigerians, Ugandans for various roles of within production environment, such as Machine Operators, Technicians, Warehouse workers, Helpers, Drivers, Forklift Operators, Packaging workers, etc.
• Reduced agency usage to Zero which resulted in saving of yearly over AED 1.5 million.
• Involved in developing and enhancing AWR candidate experience journey.
