• Working as System Administrator, responsible for providing infrastructure security, network administration and support, Data Centre Support for Servers and Communication Equipments including but not limited to 250+ Servers with Windows Server 2008, 2003 and 2000 Operating Systems.
• Active member of the team designing and implementing the Disaster Recovery Centre of the Bank. Designed and implemented a Data Centre with 50+ servers, Backup Devices, Communication equipments, SAN, Centera, NAFS Storage Systems, configuring and managing their replications, Database replications as well as Server replications etc.
• Created disaster recovery, business continuity and emergency notification program for different departments.
• Co ordination with the vendors, application owners and the development staff regarding the applications, their compatibilities and the working nature to be set up in the DRC site and implementations.
• Plan and implement migration of critical server’s database storages to SAN.
• Assembling, Rack Mounting and Installation of HP 460c, 640c Blade servers, OS installations through RDP setup and configurations.
• Windows Clustering configuration and administration, Load Balancing, Migration of servers to Windows 2003, which involved Application and Hardware compatibility testing, in co-ordination with User Support section and Development Staff.
