As a cabin crew member for Emirates Airlines it is my primary job role to ensure the safety and security of passengers at all time, enabling me to build strong trustworthy relationships with people I have just met.
This job role has allowed me to practice and build on my strict time management skills, by having to complete a variety of tasks in a strict time restraint whilst maintaining a calm and collected composure.
Furthermore, I have also had the ability to develop excellent team work skills on a daily basis. By working with a new group of people each day, this has enabled me to develop an open mind to individuals thoughts and embrace different ways of working.
As a result, being a stewardess has enabled me to appreciate working with diverse cultures by learning from others whilst practising the art of patience in a strict time restraint environment.
Working in the nutritional services department at the St. Michael's Health Centre meant I was the first point of contact in providing an exceptional dining experience at all meal times for the elderly residences.
In doing so I was able to utilize my strong organizational and time management skills in order to ensure all my duties were carried out in a smooth manner, thus eliminating the opportunity for down time to occur.
My strength of working well with others was well suited to this job due to the reliance of team work and ability to help one another in order to get the job done.
Working as a Customer Care Executive for West LA Boutique meant I was the customer's first point of contact via telephone and e-mail. I was responsible for dealing with all customers queries, concerns, complaints and suggestions.
As West LA Boutique also had an online sales platform, I also managed customer's online purchase orders. From the point the order was placed to the point the order was dispatched from West LA Boutique's Head Office.
As such, I was responsible for following up on the shipment status with our external curries; DHL and FedEx, via online tracking platforms. In the unlikelihood of any delays, I would update customer's via telephone or e-mail.
As a passionate fashionista, the job role of being a sales associate for West LA Boutique came naturally to me.
I ensured customers had an interactive and friendly shopping experience that they would not forget. I would build relationships with repeat customers and begin to know their preference in fashion taste. As such, I would personally call them to inform them when we received new pieces that I know would suit their tastes.
As a sales associate I was also responsible for changing the window display mannequins on a weekly basis. This job role enabled me to use my creative side and put our best pieces on show!
