• Oversee the daily operations of the finance department for which preparing various reports, budgets and financial analysis for reporting to the head office and for controlling internal financial matters;
• Ensure implementation of relevant Tax and Corporate laws in daily operations of Company which include preparation of policy document for its operations in compliance to relevant Tax and Corporate Laws, contracts in accordance to terms of relevant Tax and Corporate laws, templets of invoices sent to clients etc.;
• Remain vigilant regarding identification of areas which do not comply with relevant operational policies and tax and corporate laws including internal controls;
• Proficient in working on special and ERP (Oracle) accounting software’s;
• Manage, control and ensure that company accounting activities and procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles;
• Performing the month end closing process and reconciliation of the ledgers in mentioned software’s;
• Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements along with relevant disclosures assuring their conformity with relevant rules and regulation and all applicable International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
• Assist in applying IFRS: conversions and implementation of new standards
• Advise and support in the preparation of IFRS financial statements and improving their financial reporting to relevant stakeholders;
• Make impact assessment of VAT on companies’ operations and monthly filing of VAT return in compliance to relevant laws and regulations on due dates;
• Ensure documentation of record fully compliant with applicable Tax (VAT) and Corporate Laws including best practices followed in the industry;
• Ensure that all financial transactions are handled and processed in-line with the approved policies procedures and relevant Laws (Tax and Corporate);
• Asses the gaps in internal control;
• Assist in filing the gaps of internal controls through devising and implementing internal control;
• Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts in coordination with the CFO;
• Reporting to senior managers directly;
• Ensure that the company are continuously keeping sufficient fund to fulfill its financial obligation by preparing monthly cash flow forecast. Monitor the actual cash flow against forecast and take the necessary measure to remedy variances;
• Direct and coordinate debt financing and debt service payments with external agencies and monitor terms, conditions and covenants and ensure compliance with the same;
• Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations;
• On-job training and professional development of staff; and

• Preparation and filing of appeals before the appellate authorities e.g. The Commissioner of Inland Revenue (Appeals) and the Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR) and attendance of hearings before appellate authorities.
