Admin & Logistics Coordinator at Plan International

a) Provided support to The Food & Agricultural Organization of United Nations (FAO) funded project of “Emergency Livelihood Assistance to Support Flood-Affected vulnerable farmers in Sindh Province Pakistan”:-
• Prepared detailed logistical plan for the distribution of Agricultural Inputs in Badin & Thatta Districts.
• Sunflower package (Seed, DAP & Urea) was distributed in 23, 000 vulnerable farming household.
• Rice package (Rice & Veg. Seed, DAP & Urea) was distributed in 6, 700 vulnerable farming household.
Achievement:
For Sunflower package distribution entire transportation and storage facility in Badin were obtained from World Food Program of United Nation (WFP) led Logistic Cluster resulted in net saving of Rs. 3.0 million to the project and Plan became second major humanitarian organization that utilized cluster services.
b) Managed timely procurement based on requirements and maintaining sound & principled relationship with suppliers and others entities.
c) Worked as Security Focal Person for Program Unit Thatta office.
d) Ensured smooth functioning of Program Unit Office, Thatta as per laid down procedures, managed & supervised vehicle/fuel management, timely payments to vendors, arranged conferences & meeting etc.
Achievement:
• Seasoned and reputed vendors were enlisted, brought ease and agility in procurement
