Currently working as a senior systems analyst in the Group IT Department of ENBD after the merger with Dubai Bank.
I manage all the payment systems like ICCS, WPS, FTS, Corona, Advent, Quaestor DDS to
Name a few. Involved in requirement gathering from the business users and writing functional
specs and floating RFP for vendor selection to decision making of ideal suitable vendor for the
bank. Initiated a key project to enhance the performance of the payment application by liaising
with business and the vendors and increased the performance of the existing payment systems by 50% without compromising functionality and was very instrumental in ensuring the bank systems run smooth with no service disruption by configuring automatic alert using fog light application to mitigate issues and handle them without any service outage .
Involved in analyzing new requirements and suggesting the bank on Vendor select based on
Technical and functional and cost benefits. Involved in providing innovative solutions to
Enhance the systems to save cost for the bank.
Currently working on many initiatives with the vendors to enhance the design and performance of existing application to handle large volumes of transactions without degradation of the performance and functionality across the payment systems to ensure stability and performance of the payment systems
Worked as a Senior Team Leader in the IT Department of Dubai Bank.
In my tenure with Dubai Bank I have been involved in many projects for the bank to
customize the existing banking software to cater to in house requirements of the bank.
Built surround systems on the existing banking software under took projects as a team
Leader like the ones mentioned below.
• Rolled our many branches seamlessly
• Internet banking: - Liased with the business and got the requirements for internet banking customized the existing software and modified the system to cater to internet banking developed in house programs and liaised with the vendor to get the full suite of internet banking and mobile banking project.
• Islamic banking : customized the existing software to cater to Islamic banking by developing many in house programs to handle Islamic banking.
• Wrote many In-house API’S to integrate with the existing banking application
• Designed and implemented Draw application for the bank to conduct daily and monthly draws for their customers.
• Cheque printing: - customized the existing software to integrate with the vendor for online cheque book printing.

In my tenure with Misys I have performed different roles in the organization as a developer, trainer, implementation consultant and Systems analyst.
My role was to support the banks in the rollout of our new software, which include speaking to clients and understanding the problem and providing solutions to them.
Few of the Projects undertaken.
• Onsite project in Dubai bank to develop and train on customized API interfaces with our product Branchpower. To also implement and support the bank on our product.
• Onsite project in Standard Bank South Africa for the upgrade and conversion of their software from our old software to the latest.
• Trained many of our customers on API interfaces to our product.
• Involved in analysis and design of convergence projects for Standard Chartered bank.
• Involved in analysis design and coding of various projects for Financio mazda credito
On Extended Retail Lending Module
• Involved in analysis design and coding of various projects for Arab national bank

• Developed Extended Retail Lending Module with rule of 78 functionality for
• Saudi Holandi Bank. The project involves a full fledged banking application for

The existing loan software had to be tailor made for the client.
• Enhancement of Account notes Functionality for International Bank of Asia
Hong Kong. The functionality of account note setup on an account was local only it was enhanced to work globally in inter branch transaction also.
• Global Inquiry restriction for Bank Melli Dubai :
The existing functionality of inquiry was to get all the details of an account for all users
For current branch and non-local branches as well. The product was modified to accept a user authority level depending on which the inquiry is restricted to local or global.
• Trained many customers like SBSA, Bank Melli, BOBL, Bank Aval and Dubai bank to name a few on how to use Branchpower API’s to be able to develop their own validation layer and to integrate with other applications.
