A. General
• Assisting the AME Unit in the development and implementation of Appraisal, Monitoring and Evaluation strategies by developing and following work plans and indicators for monitoring projects and new, potential areas of work in Azraq camp, in coordination with the National AME Manager and the Unit’s overall strategy.
• Supporting AME officers in other bases with tools and ToRs developments, ODK, report writing and any other necessary work.
• Supervision of the collection of quantitative and qualitative data on ACTED programs and general pre-project data.
• Attending all base meetings to stay current on Azraq projects and to present AME findings with Area Coordinators and program teams.
• Actively seek out and receive refugee complaints and feedback, recording data and sharing with appropriate Managers for problem solving.

B. Development of data collection tools and methodologies
• Working closely with AME Managers, Programme Managers and Area Coordinators to design appropriate information collection tools and methodologies including the assessment ToRs, questionnaires etc; assisting where necessary by translating these tools and methodologies, and digitising tools on apps such as ODK.

C. Field Management and Data Collection
• Work closely with the National AME Manager, Project Managers, and Area Coordinators for the effective management of AME monitors, when in the camp for team field work.
• Assist in conducting pilot monitoring and review of tools.
• Ensure that the Monitors complete assignments accurately and on time by checking their work plan and field reports.
• Ensuring transparent, accurate and timely collection of data by administrating surveys, conducting focus groups of other participatory information collection tools as well as collecting secondary data.
• Conduct spot checks during the implementation of the projects and provide the AME National Manager with the findings from the field day.
• Ad-hoc monitoring when required.

D. Reporting
• Provide regular reports to the AME Managers at frequent intervals on the progress of the implementation of the assessment activities and on the observations during the mission.
• Report observation findings from the field to the AME Managers and Area Coordination.
• Responsible for the proper documentation of AME records at the field level.
• Designing, developing and being ultimately responsible for the databases to provide accurate and cleaned data, where necessary assisting in data entering, for effective data analysis.
• Responsible for ensuring data collected and recorded is accurate through quality checking.
• Responsible to draft initial reports from data collected in the field by AME Monitors or secondary sources, under the supervision and guidance of AME Managers.
• Responsible for timely sharing initial findings of the monitoring reports with programme and Area Coordination with the authorization of AME Managers.
• Responsible of contributing to AME recommendations together with AME Managers and program teams.
• Responsible for regular updating and sharing of recommendation and follow up tables from AME findings.

E. Complaints and Accountability
• Responsible for managing the complaints phone line and assisting with refugee feedback, complaints and suggestions
• Out-reach to the community via established meeting platforms as well as in other interactions to find complaints and feedback which might not otherwise be reported.
• Accurately recording and reporting complaints and feedback to appropriate Programme and Coordination Managers
• Monthly reporting of complaints and feedback to International AME Manager for sharing with Country Director
• Supporting Mafraq office when needed to join distributions, registering complaints and sending monthly reports.
• Supporting Zaatari accountability officer when needed in Zaatari, KAP and CC camps.
