Operations and Maintenance of Central LPG and SNG Gas distribution and detection systems viz., Gas Tank Yard, Pipeline network, Pressure Reducing and Metering Stations (PRMS), Vaporizers, Gas Sensors and Control Panels. Improvement of operations quality and provide efficient resolution for operation and maintenance issues. Identify opportunities for honing safety standards and maximizing ROI.

• Routine Inspection, Preventive Maintenance and Troubleshooting of Central Gas systems, to ensure system functionality as per Inspection Test Plan (ITP).
• Responsible for planning & execution of preventive maintenance programs to cover all projects under defined time frame.
• Expertise in Operations and Maintenance of EDS SHEILD, OLDHAM, IGD-TOCSIN, SENSIRON & PRISM Gas Panels.
• Resource management -Material, Manpower & Equipment.
• Managing 24/7 emergency calls w.r.t. Gas System operations. Analyzing Equipment malfunctions and failures and develop corrective actions accordingly.
• Assistance to clients for Civil Defense and other Statutory Inspections, Fire drills, Third Party Inspections, etc., w.r.t. Gas System Operations.
• Generating request for proposal (RFP) by identifying the needs of the customers. Responding to the RFP and negotiations with clients as required.
• Estimation of modifications, rectification of defects and components replacement of Gas Systems.
• Managing specific requests from clients viz., renovations, modifications, system upgradation, etc. Supply & Installation of modifications as well as components replacement with required Coordination with Clients, Consultants and fellow Contractors.
• Material Requisition processing and follow up with store & procurement for materials targeting the completion of any declared project under definite time frame.
• Effective Utilization of ERP in Estimation and purchase activities.
• Adhering to safety regulations and statutory requirements.
• Commissioning of Newly constructed projects and training to the facility management group.
• Planning, supervising the schedule and monitoring the performance of Supervisors, Operators and Technicians and their time sheet management. Attending training and development needs of the new hires and existing staff.
• Undertaking any other ad-hoc duties as required w.r.t. Operations and Maintenance requirements.
• Assist the Operations manager to implement policies on all aspects of operations & maintenance-existing, scheduled & futuristic.
• Advise changes in maintenance techniques that may be beneficial in terms of improved service levels at reduced cost.
• Pre-AMC Technical Inspection and Estimation for AMCs and SNAG rectifications if any.
• Advise on Technical and Safety concerns during Business meets and Negotiations with clients.
• Techno-commercial support to commercial team for proposals as per requirement.

• Handling Shift Operations of production in LPG bottling plant. Analysis of daily production and enhancing bottling efficiency and quality.
• Distribution of bottled cylinders as per the market demand and uniform utilization of fleets. Ensuring distributors demand are catered timely and addressing their operational issues including transportation.
• Receipt & Storage of Bulk LPG - Tankers decantation and Storage in LPG Bullets, Periodical reconciliation and Bulk LPG Stock gain/loss maintenance.
• Management of inventories viz., Bulk LPG, Cylinders, Valves, Regulators and consumables viz., PVC seal, PVC caps, etc., and periodical reconciliation. Maintaining Periodical cycle count of materials.
• Development of SOPs for operations as per Statutory, Operational and Safety requirements.
• Inventory Management of all materials and consumables, cycle count, operations control and dispatch of bottled cylinders through ERP system: Oracle/JD-Edwards and interfaced Web Applications.
• Periodical Preventive Maintenance and Breakdown maintenance activities of equipment viz., LPG compressors, Pumps, Air Compressors, LPG Bottling equipment, Gas Sensors, Control Panel, etc.
• Co-ordination with Regional office / Head office for requirement of specific approval at appropriate levels.
• Liaising for periodical approvals of statutory requirement with Govt. Regulatory Departments.
• Procurement of various materials and equipment spares as required for uninterrupted LPG bottling operations.
• Purchase and Contracting activities of Man Power for Production, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Security Contracts, LPG cylinders re-testing, Painting and Hot Repairing requirements, including AMC contracts with OEM.
• Budgeting of annual maintenance expenses.
• Managing listed vendors including work force contractors, material suppliers, transporters, etc.
• Identification and disposal of scraps as per disposal procedures with necessary approvals generating maximum returns.
• Identification, proposal and execution of CAPEX and OPEX Projects in the view of process improvements, statutory and HSE requirements, Audit compliances, etc.
• All Purchase/Project activities carried out through ERP system: Oracle/JD-Edwards and e-Tender Web Applications.
• Control on safety systems of LPG Bottling plant and Work Permits as per OISD standards.
• Conducting and Participating in Mock Fire Drills, Bomb Threat Drills periodically as per Disaster Management Plan.
• Compliances of recommendations arising from various Statutory Audits.
• Periodical training to workmen on HSE and operations of LPG Plant, including Fire Fighting.
• Conducting audits and training to Distributors network to ensure statutory regulations and enhance customer service.
• Response to RFQs, Discount and Profitability analysis on pricing and Negotiations with clients in business meets w.r.t. LPG supply.
