Temporary contract, supporting the Private School Building Project at Saudi Aramco - South Dhahran Home Ownership. Review processes to ensure company quality standards are met consistently. Leverage Procurement knowledge and expertise for the benefit of the overall project.
• Act as consultant on Materials Procurement on top of QA role, recommending actions to optimize the process and achieve original plan cost.
• Gained Aramco’s approval yet again fora key project role, based on the expertise demonstrated and prior project achievements.
• Achieved in depth knowledge of Material Quality control standards over a short period of time, quickly adding value to the operation through consistent inspection and evaluation.
Quality Control lead for the Saudi Electric Company Gas and Pipelines Project, executed in conjunction with Saudi Aramco. Double hatted as couch and mentor for the Procurement team, and facilitated project meetings among all involved departments, vendors, and any other related parties.
• Achieved full immersion into the quality standards of the company in record time, landing recognition from the overall project managers.
• Examined all documentation with regards to Material Requisitions, Inspection, and Final Disposition Records, to ensure all were compliant with quality regulations.
Directed Procurement activities for two Saudi Aramco EPC Control Replacement Analyzers at the RasTanura Projects. Carried out all strategic sourcing procurement, from contracting to monitoring performance versus agreed terms. Assisted the Materials requisition process, drafting bidding proposals as required.
• Achieved completion of the Procurement Process Aramco Audit with zero non-compliance.
• Designed an efficient purchase strategy, enabling simple processes for supplier selection, offer evaluation, negotiation, and final selection.
Local and Worldwide Buyer for a multi bullion project with Fluor Arabia, driving the complete process for high-value requisitions. The project required coordination with Third Party Sadara Project, a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Dow Chemicals. Scope was mainly creation of requisitions, evaluation of suppliers, negotiation of terms and cost, and subsequent performance as per final agreements.
• Expedited orders and bidder change orders proactively, closing processes in a timely fashion and still reaching the most cost-effective agreements.
• Engaged the Third-Party Inspection Agency to secure the Inspection Assignment Package complied with requirements and was approved within schedule.
• Employed negotiating techniques to expedite delivery of materials according to project requirements, achieving better times than originally agreed in the original purchase order.
