• Executed large scale diversified projects comprising of feasibility study, FEED, scope finalization, detailed engineering, procurement and construction.
• Managed contracts consisting of scope / specification finalization, bids evaluation, contract award, resource mobilization, supervising contractors, analyzing non-conformities, recommending corrective actions and review of final completion etc.
• Successfully completed major online & shutdown projects for construction of new sub-station, installation of power transformers, HV / LV switchboards, motors, variable speed drives, fire alarm system, UPS and their interfacing with SCADA & DCS.
• Completed basic engineering of a complex project to replace five gas turbines by high speed electrical motor (11kV, 10 MW each) fed through variable speed drives involving Mot Macdonald (Abu-Dhabi) as project consultant.
• Conducted network study and end of equipment life cycle study for entire QAFCO complex involving Siemens (Germany) and EA Technology (U.K).
• Successful completed project, installation & commissioning of electrical system for 210KT/A Polypropylene Plant (Montell, Holland) with Bechtel (Project Consultant) and Daelim Engg. Co. (Executing Agency, Korea).
• Managed overall responsibility of power distribution and electrical maintenance of polypropylene plant including planning, budgeting, cost control, spares management, scheduling, services and contracts for routine and shutdown maintenance.
• Maintained HV / LV substations, transformers, motors, variable frequency drives, UPS, Battery Chargers, PLCs, capacitor banks, fire alarm system, PA system and plant lighting.
• Developed & implemented equipment wise standard maintenance procedures and schedules for preventive maintenance, condition monitoring, reliability centered maintenance (RCM) and risk based maintenance (RBM).
• Configured PM/ MM Modules of SAP to implement Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Project, installation, commissioning and startup of electrical system for 65000 MTA Polyethylene Terephthalate Plant (Toray-Japan) and 31.5MVA Diesel Power Plant (Skoda) with IDEA (Project consultants).
• Operated and maintained Diesel Power Plant which included 14 number of 2270kVA, 6.6kV, Skoda make diesel generators and associated utilities. This included island and parallel operation of Synchronous alternators, active & reactive power controls, brush & brushless excitation system, automatic voltage control and load shedding scheme.
• Maintained electrical system comprising of switchyard, substations, transformers, motors, variable frequency drives, UPS, spinning machines, draw twisting (DT) machines, draw texturing (DTY) machines and EOT cranes.
• Planning and implementation of ISO14001 & OHSAS 18001.
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Rani Durgawati University, Jabalpur (India) in Year 1993 with 82% Marks in final semester and 75% marks in degree.
