Manage all processes, including product development, sourcing, production planning, logistics (inbound and outbound), and information systems while coordinating these processes to integrate together through physical flows and information flows. Physical flows involve the transformation, movement, and storage of goods and materials. Information flows allow to coordinate long-term plans, and to control the day-to-day flow of goods and material up and down the supply chain.
• Devise and implement effective sourcing and logistics strategies in line with strategic business plan to meet company’s strategic objectives.
• Direct entire supply chain process through managing purchase and logistics plans as well as meeting supplier requirements to have best supplies across the globe.
• Maintain an appropriate level of raw materials and energy sources to meet customer’s specifications while pursuing the lowest total cost of ownership.
• Analyse all contract documents, including all key terms and conditions and take adequate necessary actions to ensure compliance with company’s policies and all applicable legal guidelines.
• Craft, track, and forward periodic/ad-hoc reports, including spending, savings, PO Cycle Time, and S&OP (Sales and operation plan).
• Monitor supplier performance by conducting quarterly business reviews to ensure suppliers follow service level agreements.

Achievements:
• Delivered active support to commercial department (export 65% and domestic 35%) that helped commercial teams in achieving their goals and strategic objectives.
• Introduced a new warehousing module for domestic sales, which increased domestic sales volume and helped to overcome road challenges from North Sinai area.
• Successfully achieved 12.2% savings in export activities cost from April to August 2017 Vs. 2016 FY as well as 27% savings in raw material purchasing vs. 2017 budget.
• Established a strong supply chains (sourcing and logistics chains) for Pet coke to secure company’s needs to achieve the targeted substitution rate.

• Reviewed all purchase requisitions (PR) raised by requestors and took applicable required actions to confirm sufficiency of backup documentation in compliance with company’s procurement policies and procedures and approved POs to vendors accordingly.

Achievements:
• Championed the development of first phase wind farm project at El Zeit Gulf (120 km north Hurghada) to generate 120 MW through ItalGen Misr Co. which is a subsidiary of ItalCementi Group.
• Steered all procurement tasks and saved €6.3 M during 2015 vs. budget out of total spend of €60.4 M.
• Minimised the prices of raw material against the previous year in spite of the inflation rate, which resulted in company’s GOP (Gross Operating Profit) by a positive impact over than 8 MEGP.
• Achieved a secured supply chain of Coal/Pet Coke; with an annual average quantity of 500 K tons; for all Suez Cement Group plants.
• Initiated secured supply chains and achieved 12% of fuel substation rate using alternative fuel (Biomass & RDF) of Suez Cement group during 2015 that increased to 14% during 2016
