To lead and support the Electrical Team in the preparation as well as to complete the on-going
and incoming company's design and supervision projects
• Responsible for complete Buildings and Infrastucture engineering deliverables .
• Develops and prepare complete Detail Design Packages including:
-Power Calculations (MV and LV)
- Grounding and Lightning Protection Calculations
- Lighting Calculations (Indoor, Outdoor, Street Lighting)
- Electrical Equipment Sizing Calculations (Generators, Transformers, Cables, Breakers, UPS, Cable Trays, ...)
- Preparing of all detail design drawings in CAD and REVIT (SLD, Panel Schedules, Lighting, Power, Grounding, Fire Alarm, Lightning, ...)
• Develops and prepare utility schematics, panel elevations, electrical equipment enclosure plans, wiring diagrams, specifications.
• Reviewing and producing design drawings, including General Arrangements, Spacing and Clearances, Elevations, Cable and Conduit Plans, Grounding Plans, Physical Connection Details, AC/DC schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Follow engineering practices and client standards (SEC, RC, IEC, NEC, …).
• Perform technical and detailed design work.
• Review of design calculations and selection.
• Resolve any design issues.
• Plan, schedule, conduct, and communicate work with team members all design aspects of the project.
• Attend client meetings for technical clarifications.
●• Prepare shop drawings, including SLDs, Equipment layouts, cables routing and duct banks, cable trays and conduits, termination and hook up schedules and details, coordination drawings, based on design drawings, selectivity and discrimination study as well as cables sizing calculations.
• Prepare shop drawings submittals and resolve consultant’s comments.
• Prepare material take offs, as necessary, and verify compliance of supplied material.
• Prepare material submittals for electric equipment and follow up comments / approval with the consultant.
• Follow up progress and adequacy of electric equipment production with the manufacturers.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to make sure that interfaces and clashes are resolved.
• Coordinate with civil subcontractor regarding relative civil facilities like duct banks, pull pits, equipment foundations, openings, etc.
• Provide technical support to construction team and verify that the works are ongoing as per latest design.
● Design of power, lighting and communication (telecoms and data, … etc) and low current systems ( CCTV, public address, fire alarm, BMS, ….. etc.) provisions in small to large scale buildings, calculation of demand loads, diversity factors and production of Concept Reports through to Construction Documentation.
● Reviews new product plans and makes recommendations for material selection based on design objectives, such as strength, weight, heat resistance, electrical conductivity, and cost.
● Handle a wide and complex variety of material procurement duties related to purchasing activities from local and international markets.
● Ensure compliance of used materials with the project’s specifications.

●Supervision and Installation of all kind of cable (low current, low voltage, medium voltage).
●Supervision and Installation of switch gears and panel boards.
● Installation of medium voltage networks. I have assigned as transmission engineer in site worked in installing, operating and maintaining overhead lines and cables (33kv-22kv-11kv).
● Installation and maintenance of medium voltage switchgear (13.8Kv, 11kv).
● Transformers, switchgear, R.M.U and medium voltage networks.
● Execution of building electrical systems (power, lighting, emergency power, earthing, lightning and land scab work) and low current systems (CCTV, public address, data &telephone, fire alarm, BMS…etc.)
● Installation of all kind of cables(low current, low voltage, medium voltage) including terminations and joints.
