- Sourcing, acquisition, support and maintenance of all of the bank’s IT-related vendors, products and services, including: Telecommunications, IT hardware, IT software/ licenses, IT Services and ATM machines.

- Achieved a total saving of 15 Million Saudi Riyals (20% of the total annual expenses), as a result of the executed sourcing Project for the General Facility Services.

- Developed a roadmap, managed and implemented a detailed plan toward establishing a working Vendor Management Office (VMO) within IT Division.
- Tracks annual IT cost savings resulting from VMO activities. Achieved a total saving of 28 Million Saudi Riyals during the last two years.
- Developed the Department’s Policy & Procedures.
- Established Vendor’s Pre-qualification process to approve/disqualify new vendors.
- Managing the Strategic Sourcing process (end-to-end from preparing the RFP/RFI document to Vendor selection) for many strategic IT projects.
- Developed and maintained contract template library.
- Monitor, measure and report vendors performance to the top management in a monthly basis.
- Manage the relationship with the entire IT vendors.
- Conducts VMO customer satisfaction survey and leads corrective action planning efforts.
- Assists our internal customers in establishing SLA and metrics dashboard including quality measurements

- Introduced the new concept of Vendor Management for the first time within the Bank.
- Tracks annual cost savings for the Communications Dept. resulting from Vendor Management activities.

- Successfully managed “WAN optimizations Project” across NCB network in more than 260 Branches/Sites, starting with the feasibility study up to the project close out. (2006)
- Successfully managed a project to move “NCB Tadawul System” from Riyadh to Jeddah Computer Center, as part of the system enhancement and upgrade. (2005)
- Actively participated in building the Network Infrastructure of NCB New Data Center. (2005)
- Successfully participated in the Planning, Designing & Implementation phase of “Alahli SMS” Project, which made NCB the first in the kingdom to provide such service. (2003)
- Headed a team who has successfully migrated more than 250 branches to TCP/IP protocol. (2002-2003)
- Successfully participated and managed to upgrade NCB X.25 network to new Enterprise Legacy IP Network. More than 250 branches have been migrated to the new network. (2001-2003)
