Job Responsibilities: Pre-fabrication inspection:
 Perform material receiving inspection of structural members i.e. Beam, Column, Channel fasteners and welding consumables according to purchase order, MTC and TPI documents.
 Witness dimensional inspection of fit-up parts, bearing surfaces hole, hard stamping and straightness of Steel Structures.
 Verification of welder qualification and welding parameters.

Field Inspection:

 Conduct material receiving inspection for fabricated structures, structural shapes, bolts, nuts and washers based on PO, MR, IRN, IRC and MTC conformance to project specification.
 Perform structural alignment inspection prior to grouting.
 Conduct pre-installation procedure verification testing as per AISC using tension calibrator.
 Ensure the tightening of joints that are designated in the drawing e.g.: Snug-tight, pretensioned and slip-critical.
 Perform high strength bolt tightening inspection as per required torque value by using calibrated wrench and DTI washer technique.
 Verify calibration of welding machines, tension calibrator and calibrated wrench.
 Perform access structure installation inspection for MOV platform and other access platforms.
 Perform weld visual inspection of structural modification and field grating opening.
 Conduct regular surveillance and inspection at project site to ensure that any discrepancy will be observe and rectified before it is notice by the client representative.
 Issue non-conformance report (NCR) for any unsatisfactory or noncompliance of standards and specification observed at site for resolution and to refrain recurrence.
