JOB PROFILE
• Clarification meetings with customer, developing bills of materials, review customer inquiries, data sheets, technical specifications, and other standards to determine suitability and define exceptions.
• Analyzes, organizes, and describes the application of products to conform to customer requirements.
•Select equipment that best suits the client's needs with regards to cost, lead time, reliability, and adherence to specifications using catalogues and computer aided selection software/programs.
• Develop a detailed quotation or proposal highlighting technical information on product performance, installation requirements, pricing and delivery schedules.
• Respond to questions and requests from customers and make associated changes in the proposal and conduct on site visits to the customer to present the proposal and participate in
closing the sale, especially the sale of larger, more technical systems.
• Prepare cost summary of equipment required for the engineering and fabrication work required, and recommend the pricing of the project.
• Direct the application of new products or modification of older products.
• Assists in product training to internal personnel, field technicians and assist in product presentations to customers, consultants, etc. Participates in Trade Fairs & Regional Exhibitions.
• Diagnose problems with installed equipment.
• Assist in business development functions including applications support and market data collection, market trends, competitive products and pricing.
• Developing new business & customers within assigned region or industry.
• Assuring achievement of set financial targets, profits, etc. to support overall strategic plans. Preparing sales budgets and forecasts as and when needed.
• Serve as liaison with customers on changes in specifications or the configuration of the system.
• Pre-qualifying all of the company’s products with Govt. & Semi Govt. Agencies, Consultants, Contractors & International Agencies.
