After having switched my career from Constructions Industry to hospitality Industry, I Started my career as an intern at Zaika Family Restaurant, Doda, in August 2020, before being assigned the role of a full time Restaurant Manager in January 2021.
As a Restaurant Manager, my primary responsibilities were as following:
● Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
● Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations.
● Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service.
● Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked.
● Monitoring the restaurant’s cash flow and settling outstanding bills.
Reviewing customer surveys to develop and implement ways to improve customer service.
● Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.
● Screening, interviewing, hiring, and training restaurant staff and managing restaurant staff's work schedules.
During my role as a Site Engineer in Construction Industry, I had been responsible for :
● Monitoring construction site progress, managing
routine and complex issues to keep tasks on track
and costs within budget.
● Delivering quality control and safety management
during pre-construction and review.
● Verifying consistent delivery of high-quality work
across structure construction.
● Estimating materials, equipment and labour
needed for construction activities and secured
resources needed to facilitate completion and
delivery of projects.
● Reviewing contract documentation during project
initiation and directed construction activities to
fulfil obligations.
● Managing equipment reliability and maintenance
policies of civil structures, drains and fences.
● Developing and implementing engineering
solutions for project and design issues.
