• Perform troubleshooting on MPLS network, including unicast, multicast and leased line related incidents.
• Support network protocols such as MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, HSRP, STP, PIM etc.
• Organize conference call and conduct end-to-end connectivity check and latency check.
• Perform change management on cisco routers and switches, including activities such as MPLS RT, BGP communities and MED modification, HSRP switchover, twice NAT implementation, IOS upgrade etc.

• Provided 2nd level support for complex network issues in BT Radianz network including troubleshooting access line flapping/outage, BGP/MPLS-VPN routing issue.
• Carried out network connectivity test by conferencing customers and all network parties capturing packets flow and analysing using netflow; investigating NAT translation issues, firewall filtering, MPLS core network and BGP attribute related faults.
Working in NTT communications- NTT MSC, Global Delivery & Operations Centre (GDOC) as Network Provisioning Supervisor, leading a team of provisioning engineers responsible for 24*7 global provisioning and Implementation of NTT Communications Arcstar Global IP VPN services.
• Provisioning/commissioning circuits of various speed and access types.
• Complete all tasks associated with the base configuration and Test & Turn Up activities to enable management of CPE via appropriate network management platform.
• Troubleshoot circuit related issues occurred during the time of implementation.
• Link performance and errors check using Fluke Metro Scope, JDSU Ether Tester and Link Runner before circuit delivery to customers.
• Coordinating with field engineer at customer side and troubleshooting with the local Carrier Provider for various issues faced during the Remote AL test.
• Experience in working on Alcatel Lucent 5620 Network Manager for configuration and troubleshooting STM Circuits using 7470 node and DNX-88 MAP node.
• Preparing detailed Incident Reports for the issues faced by the customer on request from the customer or the product managers.
• Supervising the shift team, Training new team members and resolving issues faced by them.
• Motivating the team to achieve high standards and KPI targets
• Performing network upgrade orders like BW Upgrade/Degrade, QOS change, Addition/removal of routes from customer networks, Node Migration, Abolish/Terminate orders.
• Working knowledge and hands-on experience in MPLS L3 VPN services.
As an Operations Network Engineer -I am accountable for operational effectiveness of Core Data Networks & resolving Enterprise customers circuits consisting of services like L3/L2VPN, DIA(Direct Internet Access), Leased Lines, and Ethernet over SDH.
Co-coordinating with field engineers & other NLD/ILD groups to resolve data network related problems on daily basis. Fault and Alarm Management of devices & links. Clearing of fault tickets and trouble tickets created in Clarity OSS by Data-FM.
• Technical Support and Fault Management for the WAN connectivity including the troubleshooting of routing protocols like BGP, OSPF for L3VPN circuit customers.
• Troubleshooting of SDH/Ethernet over SDH circuits consisting of services like VPN (Virtual Private Network), L3 VPN, DIA (Direct Internet Access), Leased Lines.
• Hands on experience on Juniper, Cisco Routers for data services with the knowledge of routing protocols like OSPF and BGP.
• Creating plans for Network solution to increase network capacity and then co-ordinating with field engineers to execute the plan on physical level and finish the event in a limited amount of time in order to reduce Network outage.• Ensure the availability of all networking and communications services and support on a 365 x 24 basis (global operations).• Responsible for transmission network performance management & optimization as per Network growth for Optical Transport.
• Grooming of traffic and network optimisation.
