Project : New Orbital Highway - NOH2
Emergency response (Fire, Accident, Injury and other Emergencies, arranging First-aid )
• Confined space - ensure safety at chambers, manholes, pipelines etc (PTW, gas monitoring, competency and certifications of supervisors and workforce, availability of rescue team and equipment)
• Excavation safety - Implementing procedures (permits, checklists, barricading, signage, access etc )
• Underground Utility protection - Ensure PTW, relevant Documents ( SIS, Method Statement ) Identification of buried services by CAT Scan and its protection.
• Lifting Safety - ensure fitness of equipment (registration validity and 3rd party certification), competency of operator, certified Rigger, safe lifting gears and safe installation of lifting equipment.
• Fire and Electrical safety- Ensuring (Hot work permits, availability of fire Extinguishers, appropriate housekeeping, suitable and approved electrical power source and appliances )
• Arrange and Conduct internal training for all workers including weekly TBT.
• Ensure and verify all Activities has relevant permits and implemented all work
Related safety measurements (Excavation, work at height, Lifting, Hot works, Confined space Permits etc.)
• Welfare facilities -Monitor and Ensure suitable and sufficient welfare measures provided in the site reasonably practicable level.
Frequent inspection of welfare facilities on site for eg - Drinking water, toilets and rest shelters
could attain knowledge and skills to manage health and safety system with the team of an organisation
Bachelors Degree in Physics, from the University of Kerala
