- Manages the day-to-day issues related to facilities and interact with end-users to tackle their
concerns
- Provides improvement schemes for operations efficiency and energy consumption
- Compares original engineering design parameters, including electrical/mechanical equipment
systems, with current operating conditions to ensure compliance to original design intent and
identifies areas of enhancement
- Develops and pursue the daily buildings condition inspection program and issues the required
work permits
- Participates in the implementation of a campus-wide Energy Conservation and other
sustainability Programs
- Develops and monitors KPIs for Energy and Sustainability Performance in Campus and Research &
Technology Park
- Working collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers and service providers.
- Liaising with suppliers, contractors and relevant stakeholders (e.g. HSE, E&PM and University
Projects).
- Ensures safety compliance of all non-research activities
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving of the systems
- Conduct & Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for all buildings management incidents and
ensure the implementation of the findings

- Audit inspections for conformity to contract documents and contractor submitted plans.
- Coordination with Project Engineer and all other engineers on all issues related to quality.
- Follow up maintenance/calibration of inspection, measuring & test equipment at site.
- Investigating and reporting on field problems;
- Liaise and daily follow up with the contractor. This is to ensure the contractor is managing its resources, health and safety, and equipment needs on the site.
- Liaise with client, suppliers, sub-contractors and other external agencies on all quality matters.
- Monitor contractor QA/QC activities and maintain relevant records.
- Maintain records of materials tests performed and executed works.
- Make presentations on assigned projects to upper management, when required.
- Participate in risk management activities of the project.
- Provide supervisory oversight of contractor’s materials testing activities and witness testing both in the laboratory and on site.
