Managing Network and Security operations

 Manage and develop the infrastructure design of a proposed network plan to ensure that all technical requirements and data are available and considered during project planning.
 Plan and review network configuration to ensure the highest availability of services particularly in case of catastrophic failure and to minimize the impact of such failure on the operations.
 Design, setup, and configure switching environments, wireless networking, multi-server environments, and other complex infrastructure that support and ensure the availability of critical applications.
 Maintain network security infrastructure to ensure that all corporate data is properly secured while providing primary support and maintenance for all network security equipment across the network.
 Review security logs from firewalls, switches, routers, etc. to determine cause of security-related events or identify potential threats and troubleshoots security problems/failures while reporting suspected network misuse, unresolved network security exposures or noncompliance to seniors.
 Install network updates and patches when required. Support NSX VMware technology.
 Manage, develop and continuously improve all aspects of network infrastructure and application components to ensure consistent and reliable network availability.
 Configure and ensure the integrity of firewalls, VPN and security appliances to ensure business-critical applications are appropriately protected.
 Manage configuration and installation of client and server network software for upgrading and maintaining network and telecommunications infrastructure.
 Continuously review system and network performance to proactively identify opportunities to enhance network performance and minimize the risk of system failure.
 Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages and scheduling upgrades.
 Respond to inquiries and requests for support from employees, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors relating to network infrastructure.
 Troubleshoot network infrastructure malfunctions and failures to quickly and efficiently resolve operational issues and restore systems availability.
 Oversee the administration of systems and servers related network to ensure availability of services for authorized users.

 Responsible to manage and troubleshoot ADNIC all remote sites connectivity all over UAE
 Maintaining MPLS and IPsec VPN WAN Links converged through routing protocol (OSPF mainly) of ADNIC and LAN & Data Center Switching network (VLANs, VTP, STP, VPC, VDC, EtherChannels)
 Managing and configuring network and security devices like Cisco Router ISR4321, ISR4351, Switches 9500, 4500x, 3650, 2960, Nexus 9300, 5048, 3k, 2k, F5 Load Balancer & Citrix, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA & Sourcefire FTD/FMC, Check Point, Fort iGATE, Juniper Plus Secure, RSA Token, McAfee Web Gateway Proxy, Cisco CUCM, CCX, Jabber, QM. Cisco 5500 Wireless Controller, Cisco Prime, Cisco ISE 2.x. Citrix WAF and Cisco WebEx, Cisco Prime,
 Administer and configure ADNIC network devices and firewalls based on best practices and ADNIC standards.
 Ensuring highest level of security for the configuration applied.
 Handle Day to Day network and security operations and effectively respond to monitoring alerts, incident tickets, and email requests handled by Network Team.
 Identifies, analyses, and drives problems to resolution, handling small to intermediate issues simultaneously while effectively communicating and engaging higher technical peers
 Manage and monitor ADNIC network infrastructure to ensure highest level of network availability and performance
 Manage ADNIC MPLS WAN links and internet services for HQ and ADNIC remote sites
 Managing ADNIC Published services highest level of availability and security for those services.
 Support, maintenance, upgrade, and troubleshoot ADNIC network devices.
 Effectively response for Cyber security teams to close all network vulnerabilities.

•Design, document, and lead network team in deployment and maintenance of highly available network solutions.
•Log changes, and prepare proposals and RFC’s for new network expansions, upgrades, and changes.
•Work in conjunction with Information Security team to maintain network security throughout the ITIL service lifecycle.
•Provide mentoring and training to team members and provide project management for team initiatives.
•Participate in Business Continuity planning and testing.
•Oversee and participate in network break/fix resolution.
•Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
