Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure and related reporting to the project control manager for review on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
• Analysis of the difference between estimated costs and actual costs by highlighting the variances between the various estimates with a focus on efficiency and unit costs.
• Procuring equipment, materials and subcontract complying to project Quality and Specification requirements.
• Ensuring timely delivery of equipment, material & subcontractor to support site installation works as per approved work program.
• Preparing bill of quantities and file note approval.
• Floating inquiries / Request for Quotation (RFQ) to the approved bidders and issue of work / Purchase order.
• Following-up for bids and preparation of commercial bid comparative statements
• Arrange Post-award and Pre-award technical meetings involving the Engineering, Project Manager and Supplier representatives to freeze the technical requirement. Conduct price and commercial negotiation to optimize the work within the budgeted amount.
• Responsible for quantity take offs and rate analysis according to site situation such as field design change, as built drawings and compare with site measurements.
• Verifying and certifying of monthly invoices, various claims, back charges and payment certification from suppliers / vendors / sub-contractor and review the authenticity with the work or purchase order.
• Coordinating with field control managers, Project management team and stores to check all ex stocks availability and actual consumption of quantity with the estimated quantity.
• Working with the accounts managers at all times to ensure invoice matching is sufficient for payment, following up for LC payments and to ensure all expenditure on budgets are met and upheld.
• Maintaining files for all related to contracts and subcontracts
• Developing strong relationships with the clients, suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Attend the progress review meeting with subcontractor, consultant and client.

• Monitoring & reported daily schedule & daily work progress (excavation, PCC, RCC & formwork with consideration of quality, safety within scheduled time) to the construction manager.
• Preparation of bar bending schedules and raising RFIs (Request for Information).
• Checking and certification of sub contractor’s bills for payment.
• Checking material requirements & making requisition.
• Regularly maintained the joint measurement report with consultant and preparations of monthly bills.
• Prepare Monthly Report / Fortnightly Report/ Weekly Report/ Daily Report and assisted in Preparation of Master Construction Program & MIS reports.
• Responsible for supervising 4 foreman and 120 workers of various trades and was directly reporting to the construction manager.
• Worked with the team to make sure that the site was a safe environment for all.
