Technology Experience
•Responsible for the technical development, project management and process improvement activities of medium size trading cum manufacturing apparel units chiefly engaged in export activities.
•Responsible for introducing new technology in CAD/CAM for first time for High Speed Embroidering in India that enhanced value of goods exported by Manufacturers and Exporters.
•Managed technology needs and selected technology for almost all projects undertaken.
•Managed requirements and procedures to build and install an impeccable computerized package for logistics and inventory for capital and consumable goods used in building industry mainly in Aluminum & Glass.
International Business Experience
•Set up new projects, processes and supply chain for companies with imported technology in Apparel Industry.
•Represented foreign companies in India and in Middle-East for distribution of technology based products in trading and manufacturing businesses.
•Participated in International Trade Shows on behalf of principals and own company.
Project Management Experience
•Managed setup of a knitwear manufacturing facility on semi-automated assembly lines. The build out involved a 100, 000 sq. ft of space that was converted to building, offices and factory spaces and to be made operational in a year.
•Set-up manufacturing and ancillary units in Apparel industry including for self and clients chiefly specializing in high technology embroidering and finishing processes.
•Managed significant components of clients’ new projects and expansion activities as independent consultant in Apparel sector.
Operations Management Experience
•Hands-on experience of setting up and then running trading cum manufacturing units employing 50 to 300 people.
•Managed imports and logistics and nearly 200 employees, operating two warehouses, eleven branches and two manufacturing units for a 100 million dollar enterprise in KSA.
•Managed an enterprise that grew from 10 people to 300 in 4 years time.
•Set up a high tech multi-media software development unit that was prepared to grow up to a capacity to employ about 100 highly skilled software engineers, graphic designers, 3D modelers and software testers.
•Conceptualizing to Commissioning of Bellpepper, a QSR with a unique menu and popular following in and around city of Thane.
