Working as 'Network Engineer' in Al Dar Hospital, Al Madinah Al Munawwara.
Responsible for the Network that is in place at the hospital.
The Network involves Nortel Switches and Routers, and consists 6 Servers and 300 Work Stations.
• Manage and maintain the email system through the Exchange Server, including mailboxes management, Recipient Policies, Protocols management and Outlook Web Access.
• Maintain Servers (Windows 2003) including Windows Domain and Active Directory management, DNS, DHCP, Domain Security Policy, Users Accounts / Groups management, Users Disk Space Allocation.
• Manage, maintain the ISA Server 2006 for the Internet system in place at the hospital.
• Manage and maintain the Anti-virus system server - Symantec Endpoint Security.
• Schedule, Manage and Maintain the backups of the server data according to a strict schedule.
• To monitor and ensure security of LAN and WAN traffic
• Perform routine maintenance on the Network, and other Hardware.
• Troubleshoot software packages and hardware devices on client workstations.
• Perform installation and update of Windows, Antivirus and software packages for the users
·• Worked as “IT Coordinator cum Content Developer” in Indian Sports Books, India from January 2012 to November 2012.
o Resolved and documented software, hardware, network, and connectivity problems.
o Assisted users with issues and problems from a variety of sources including proprietary and MS Office applications and Microsoft Operating Systems 98, 2000 and XP.
o Provide assistance in building up and running a strong technical network for the organization.
o Install updated versions of the equipment, software and hardware already in use.
