-Manage the flow of all financial information in the Morocco Platform into ICARDA’s accounting system and ensure that data are entered in an accurate, complete and timely manner;
-Prepare the bank and petty cash reconciliation
-Monitor cash reserve and maintain cash controls
-Maintain the accounts payable/liabilities and their payments and debts maturity
-Close follow up on the purchase orders (PO) on expired budgets
-Collaborate for the closing/reporting with the PSD to follow up on the status of open PO
-Maintain the payroll system including CNSS and CIMR processing for the national recruited staff
-Ensure that the implementation of Finance processes and procedures are in accordance with ICARDA policies
-Prepare monthly financial status report of finance operation in Morocco Platform
-Assist the internal and external auditors for their mission

- Analyze the cost and expenses for a better expense control;
- Prepare the reporting for Economic Expenses following the group instructions by nature and by cost centre: IT, HR, finance, advertising and marketing, operation…
- Hold a specific reporting of IT economic expenses to insure the cost control of IT transformation project (SAP);
- Follow and analyses the actual situation Vs forecast and hold regular monthly review meetings to understand any budget variances;
- Coordinate with accounting and other departments to insure the quarterly closing on a regular basis (control the cost centre, provisions, amortization…);
- Participate actively in the Budget preparation and prepares the elements for the reporting of the budget, the business plan and the forecasts  to produce the company annual expense budget and quarterly forecasts.
- Share business results with other departments and set up action plans to correct deviations from the budget;
