Acts as the leader for the EQUATE Sustainability Committee. Led the development and
implementation of the organization's 10-year sustainability strategy. Planned, managed,
and executed all Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives by promoting and sponsoring
social activities and programs to enhance EQUATE’s image and reputation as a valued
contributor to the public stakeholders and specified targeted segments of the society.
Ensured the execution of a broad-based, company-wide strategic sustainability initiatives
that are linked with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs),
integrating sustainability throughout EQUATE global offices. Led the production of the
annual sustainability report as per the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards.
Interface with any and all government agencies and departments, domestic and
international, relating to EQUATE's responses to questions or statements of position on
sustainability related matters. Developed the diversity and inclusion strategy by cofounding the ELEVATE program in 2019. Developed and implemented the Corporate
Wellness Strategy for all global offices. Currently leading sustainability to ESG strategy
transition project.
Act as a senior member of the corporate communication team. Responsible for
developing and implementing the corporate communication strategy internally and
externally. Plan, manage, Develop, and implement social media strategy by promoting
the brand through digital and online distribution channels, to ensure these technologies
and tools support EQUATE marketing activities, create high brand awareness, and push
relevant information towards targeted audience. Develop and implement internal
communication strategy to create a unified sensed of employee pride and engagement.
Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of Corporate
Communications systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best
practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity
improvement.
Acts as a coordinator for the EQUATE CSR committee. Develops the organization’s CSR/Sustainability strategy. Plans and executes all EQUATE CSR related projects and activities. Ensures that CSR annual objectives are met. Ensures continuous sustainable development through organization activities. Leads the production of the annual sustainability report. Participates in producing CSR reports. Serves as the overall organization Environmental expert and the Responsible Care coordinator. Implements the Responsible Care standards/codes. Leads the efforts of the RC14001 certification process. Ensures environmental work processes, standards and procedures are applied within the organization. Ensures that the Management of Change for Environmental matters is implemented. Identifies potential business risks and plan environmental projects that contribute to the overall improvement of the environmental performance. Analyzes all environmental performance and produces reports. Participates in the investigation of all environmental incidents using the global EH&S process. Provides functional coaching to people performing environmental related roles. Acts as the focal point of the organization with all external parties. Leads all environmental related audits.
Served as the manufacturing department focal point for all EH&S issues. Ensured EH&S work processes, standards and procedures are applied within the unit. Ensured that the Management of Change for EH&S matters is implemented. Identified potential business risks. Participated in the investigation of EH&S incidents using the global EH&S process. Provided functional coaching to people performing EH&S related roles.
Worked between the Houston and Kuwait offices in various projects coordinating between global offices and clients. Completed work by gathering existing refinery information, meeting with clients, performing field verifications, and supporting home based offices with the process design. Completed new process flow schematics (PFS) for various systems, identified hazards associated with new facilities, developed incident scenarios and performed consequence assessments to calculate the risk imposed. Worked as a core member of the engineering design team for major projects such as KNPC’s NRP and CFP.
Worked as part of the Environmental Team on conducting the environmental assessment for the Kuwait Office. Conducted environmental audits on contractors. Prepared the Waste Management and Minimization Plan. Prepared the Oil Spill & Prevention Plan. Trained as field engineer in the following segments: Well Completions & Productivity, Wireline, Drilling & Measurements, and Well Services.
Worked as part of Business Development Team on several projects and tenders. Reviewed and analyzed technical reports on Mechanical and Biological Waste Treatment Technologies. Prepared and Presented presentation on the waste treatment technologies reports. Reviewed waste local plans to assist with obtaining planning permission. Responsible for the write up of various chapters of the Environmental Statements. Attended In-House Seminars dealing with: Asset Management, PRINCE 2 (Management Tools), Business Excellence, Risk Management, Mouchel Parkman Management Accounting System, Mouchel Parkman Health and Safety, Quality Assurance Standards and Project Management Skills.
