 Assisting and managing all post award contracts requirements for ongoing contract “Commissioning Start Up & Management Support Services” worth KD. 54 Million with Consultant
 Handling monthly payment processing for Consultant.
 Handling Consultant manpower mobilization status.
 Develops appropriate action plan in coordination with end user team to issue change order for additional funds of the contracts to ensure availability of the assigned contract services at all times.
 Assisting and Managing directives, change orders/variations orders, contract amendment, assessing implications, negotiation of omissions or extra costs, coordination & reporting on contractual implications of contractors engaged with the works.
 Preparing Contract Progress Monthly Report for monthly meeting with Operations Manager.
 Prepare Contractor performance evaluation is continually carried out for ongoing contract and filled and submit Contractor Performance Evaluation Forms to Commercial Group.
 Ensures that ongoing Contract is administered in accordance with the Company’s procedures to achieve the Best Value.
 Creating ITB for new tenders by coordinating with User Team, Finance & Commercial Team.
• Develop Scope of Work with complete tender specifications including detailed technical specification, bids’ evaluation matrix and Tender Check Estimate(Budgetary offers) in consultation with User Team.
• Obtain Budget Allocation from Finance Group.
• Obtain Bidder List and Contract Strategy confirmation from Commercial Group. Finalize the tender document including the General Terms & Conditions document in coordination with Procurement Dept.
• Prepare Draft ITB; Create & approval SR in Maximo.
• Issue of ITB Documents with all prerequisites to Commercial Group viz., Service Requisition (SR), Budget Confirmation, ITB, Checklist, Tender Check Estimate (Budgetary offers).
 Liaises with Commercial Group for timely tendering and award of Contracts.
 Performing Internal Audits of various groups/departments in KIPIC.
 Providing Operation Group monthly progress to Planning & Support Team for updating in Executive Monthly Report for higher management.

 Estimation Work Responsibilities:
 Studying tender documents, raise pre-bid queries. Attend Pre-Bid meeting/site visit to understand entire scope of work & Plan Commercial activities accordingly.
 Quantity survey of P&ID, Isometric, GA Drawings, etc. Preparation of Resources list for project.
 Preparing Price Estimates, Technical, Commercial Bids as per Client requirement &getting it approved by Department Manager and its submission.
 Updating status of submitted & ongoing tenders in weekly meetings. Follow up of submitted tenders.

 Pre-Contract Responsibilities:
 Preparation of Pre-Qualification documentation, RFQ &Contract Documents.
 Researches the industry, develops and implements best practices for the management of Static Equipment and Shutdown contracts.
 Float RFQ & receive offer from approved supplier/Sub-contractors &prepare comparison statement.
 Replying for clarifications raised by client after submission of Commercial/Technical Bid, if any.
 Checking if Contract/PO received from client is in compliance with terms & conditions of RFQ received & submitted proposal and requesting amendment if there are any deviations in contract.
 Issuance of change bulletins during the tendering process, incorporation of amendments into final contract documentation.
 Tender evaluation and short listing of sub-contractors.
 Maintaining contact list of all vendors, suppliers, Subcontractors with respect to their nature of work.

 Post Contracts Responsibilities:
 Continually monitoring& administering the Main Contracts with the Client.
 Maintain the status of all ongoing contracts for static equipment maintenance work and produces monthly reports for availability of required contract services.
 Reevaluate, negotiate to get discounted prices from shortlisted subcontractors. Finalization of award of subcontracts. Preparation of contract documents and formalizing it with the subcontractors.
 Ensures that purchase orders for subcontractors are issued as per the approved cost estimates and in line with contract conditions and rates.
 Checking & reporting on client/sub-contractor compliance with the contract & progress of works.
 Assessing contractual implications of site decisions & optimization of practical contract conditions.
 Managing directives, change orders/variations, reviewing client requirements, assessing implications, negotiation of omissions or extra costs, coordination &reporting on contractual implications of sub-contractors engaged with the works.
 Preparation and settling claims with clients &Evaluation and settlement of Subcontractors claims.

 Liaise between the Client-Site Team - Sub-Contractor in all-related contractual issues.
 Identify, request and monitor Change/Variation Orders in response to Changes/Deviations take place on Base-Line Scope/Cost/Schedule.
 Assist in the evaluation, preparation, negotiations & settlement of the Disputed Issues and Prospective Claims with client and subcontractor.
