Performing the tasks of a Drilling Fluids Engineer :
- Building, controlling and Treating the drilling fluids while drilling.
- Testing the drilling fluids samples for eventual treatments.
New Drilling Fluids Systems used :
- Salt Saturated Mud (WBM), MW reaching 2.28sg.
- Gel Polymer Mud (WBM).
- Salt Polymer Mud (NaCl).
The Use of the following softwares :
- WellSight Express, Baroid`s software for Drilling Fluids.
- DFG : Baroid`s Software for Hydraulics.
Worked for different clients such as :
- Shell (Majnoon Field).
- Kuwait Energy -KEIL- (Ciba Field).
- Petrochina (Halfaya Field).
Supervise -On Rigsite- the New Drilling Fluids System Called Ultradril. Tasks include but not limited to :
- Ensure the Drilling Fluid's Parameters are identical to the Mud Program.
- Report -On a daily basis- the performance of the Drilling Fluid.
- Communicate -Constantly- with the Client (Co-Man & SI) to ensure the necessary information are transmitted.
- Supervise and Inform the Drilling Fluids Engineers on site of the new system.
Working as a Drilling Fluids Engineer whose main Tasks are :
- Building, controlling and Treating the drilling fluids while drilling.
- Testing the drilling fluids samples for eventual treatments.
Different types of drilling fluids used, such as :
-KCl Polymer Mud (including HPHT Wells products).
- Emulsified KCl Polymer Mud.
- OBM (Diesel)
- Ultra Dril (WBM)
- Diffirent types of brine such as : CaCl2 & NaCl.
In addition to Drilling Fluids Servicing, a permanent contact with other services is usual, such as Cementing, Always in cooperation together.
Familiar with All types of Drilling rigs : Exploration, Development. Workover.
Performed a 02 months Internship within Gas Separation Unit GP1Z in Arzew - Oran where I prepared my Engineering Thesis that had as purpose the Recovery of Flared Gas.
