Primary Point of Contact with Vendors
• Oversee IT field operations to ensure smooth functioning in the areas of user support, system administration, domain services, communication, and connectivity.
• Track upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems.
• Address and resolve crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware/software problems.
• Offer guidance and support to field office IT staff in performing troubleshooting and maintenance tasks on the servers, PCs, and other devices.
• Supervise network configuration assessment and the implementation of hardware/software upgrades.
• Devise and implement back-up procedures in the field; enforce their proper application.
• Coordinate the planning and execution of technology projects and system implementations in the field in an organized and effective manner; establish project scopes, goals, timelines, resources, and deliverables that support business goals and tracking projects progress.
• Assist field office IT staff in planning and managing new office build outs and office moves.
• Develop IT budgets for field offices; negotiate competitive prices from suppliers to ensure cost effectiveness and value for money.
• Collaborate with field office IT staff on maintain up-to-date documentation of IT infrastructure and equipment in each field office.

• Planned overall field visit schedules; identified relevant changes based on operational needs.
• Bridged communications with the ICT Program manager in HQ to define and improve the policies related to her/his area of specialization by providing feedback based on his/her experiences.

• Provided oversight and compliance checks on the implementation of ICT strategy and policies throughout the country offices in the region, which included Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, and Turkey.
• Collaborated with regional ICT staff to facilitate delivery of first-line ICT support and assist with planning, budgeting, and procurement as per NRC standards.
