ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Installation / configuration of Retail Application (RMS, ReIM, RPM, RALLOC, ORCO, RWMS & RIB)
• Team Lead for the team of 5 people, Responsible for Team setup and Management.
• Managing the application system by using AD Utilities.
• Granting and monitoring user access rights and privileges through roles and profiles, Managing Concurrent Managers, Used Oracle Application tools for maintaining database and application like adpatch, adadmin etc.
• Skillfully tuned the database Performance through closely monitoring tablespaces, user sessions etc.
• Import & Export and RMAN Backup and restore, Oracle Applications administration and System administration.
• Responsible for Planning, Monitoring, execution of Application (RMS, SIM, RDW, ReIM, RPM, UC4, RIB and customized application) Support deliverables.
• Involved in Retail & EBS Application cloning.
• Involved in UC4 (Appworx) Cloning.
• Installation and Upgrading Oracle Retail and EBS.
• Applying DB and Application patch (EBS and RETEK).
• Maintained database security, integrity, backup & restoration and availability.
• Monitored table spaces, data files, alert logs and re-organization of indexes.
• Took care of daily backups to ensure recovery in case of any failure.
• Coordinated with Unix System Administrators for server/application related issues and enhancements
• Handling user security:
• RMS/RA user creation. Assign roles and controlling access at brand level/menu level.
• RPM user through RSM and controlling access with merchandiser hierarchy and brand level security.
• Resolving RWMS issue, messages publishing issue.
• Resolving RETEK Application performance issue.
• Installation and configuration of RIB 12.0.9
• Setup and configuration of e*Ways according to business standard.
• Track the eWays status with enabling the debug mode, as per requirement.
• Monitoring and resolution of RIB TOPICS (i.e.: invalid message selector, inactive subscriber, useless multi-subscriber issue).
• Monitor and resolution the messages flow using RDMT and JMS Administrator tools.
• Resolving RIB technical issue using Schema Manager and Schema Designer.
• Backup and restoration of messages from JMS Topic.
• Maintenance and resolution of RIB Error Hospital (RMS/RWSM/SIM) for message retries.
• Co-ordinate with business group to fix Data issues to clear the messages from Error Hospital.
• Republish the desired data when required.
• Installation / troubleshooting and up gradation of Appworx 7.0
• Configuring and monitoring the RETEK JOBS (chain/module).
• Resolving Critical Issues using UC4 Support, i.e. raising ticket and keep working until issue got resolved.
• Administrating daily/weekly retail batches such as Replenishment, Sales, Invoice Matching, New location creation, New item creation, Promotion, etc and making sure that they are completed successfully.
• Installation & configuration of SQL Server.
• Configuration of new and maintained existing databases based on specifications
• Implement replication using the replication tools. Configuring Publishers and Distributors, Creating publications, subscriptions. Administering and monitoring replication agents, alerts, and replication processes
• Implement filter on publisher and subscriber level to filter to replicate unwanted data.

• Creating DTS packages to update the Data Warehouse regularly with the required information and thus provide stable data.
