I was head hunted into this position as the University was in a financial and accounting
crisis and was looking for someone who could lead and help re-structure Finance as a
service unit, establish good accounting controls, monitor cash flow and arrange for credit
for operating and future expansion, re-model its budgeting and refine management
reporting. Key highlights:
• Restructured Financial Services on a centralised service model
• Outsourcing of Finance functions overseas - first in Australia
