Conduct the assessment of opportunities in Yanbu Industrial City for petrochemical industries to promote and build out the petrochemical cluster development programs.
Carry out market, technical and economic assessment studies in order to identify petrochemical clusters suitable to Yanbu Industrial City.
Analyze the technological performance of petrochemical clusters from a technical standpoint, identify potential for synergies, and advise the Director of the same.
Supervise, coordinate, and direct the needed teams to implement the needed detailed work plans to accomplish functions operational objectives.
Review legal and regulatory compliance changes, coordinate with the concerned parties, and develop reports detailing the expected impact of the same existing petrochemical clusters.
-Assessing processes for their relevance, and assessing the adequacy of engineering equipment;
reviewing existing data (also lab analysis) to see if more research and information need to be collated;
-Applying the principles of mass, momentum and heat transfer to process and equipment design, including conceptual, scheme
-Preparing reports, flow diagrams and charts;
assessing the availability of raw materials and the safety and environmental impact of the plant;
-Managing the cost and time constraints of projects;
selecting, managing and working with sub-contractors;
-Assuming responsibility for risk assessment, including hazard and operability (HAZOP) studies, for the health and safety of both company staff and the wider community;
-Working closely with chemical engineers to monitor and improve the efficiency, output and safety of a plant;
ensuring the process works at the optimum level, to the right rate and quality of output, in order to meet supply needs;
-Making observations and taking measurements directly, as well as collecting and interpreting data from the other technical and operating staff involved;
•Supervise, assist and evaluate operations staff.
•support DCS and field operator regarding plant troubleshooting and making decision .
•Ensure satisfactory audit results of plant operations.
•Conduct & document weekly staff meetings.
•Motivate, promote and direct operations staff to meet goals.
•Maintain open line of communication between staff and senior management.
•Develop individual & team goals and implement plan to carry out objectives.
•Assist plant personnel in meeting of all team & individual goals.
•Support new team members in working through induction programme, ensure that they have the necessary knowledge to effectively participate on the team.
Working as control man operator on DCS(distributed control system)
•Carries out production plans and objective efficiently and safely within quality standards.
•Ensures optimum product yields and maximum federate are achieved by monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing the process.
•Develops or updates process operating guidelines used as general reference on the plants assigned.
•Checks results of product sample tests and makes adjustment in unit conditions as necessary to obtain desired specifications.
•Shutdown or start-up units/equipments during shift and gives appropriate orders to field operators after coordinating with other DCS Operators and with the Shift Supervisor.
•Communicates with end users plant in the complex, Aramco and Yanbet as per the communication protocols .
