• Developed numerical model using visual FEFLOW/MODFLOW for engineering design of ASR wellfields for pumping out of (6) billion Gallons during emergency al Al Maha ASR Wellfield of Dubai.The client is Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA).
• The project aims to use advanced I-SMART technology to manage and operate wells, determine thequantities of pumped water, and control the water quality, so the water pumped from 435 wells remains within the permissible specifications and
standards for drinking water in Dubai Emirate.
• The project includes operating 435 groundwater wells, which can pump about 50 million gallons per day
used in times of emergency.
• To develop a numerical model to simulate the water pumping in shallow aquifers to comply

with the qualityof water during storage and operation for 90 days. The calibrated model predicted the quality of groundwater in the future based on the well operation plan.
• The project also contributes to significantly reducing cost, reducing human interference in the operation process, and achieving the highest efficiency in the project without any errors
Project: Consultancy Services for the Development of Integrated Local Water &
Wastewater Master Plan for Southern WDS, Saudi Arabia

Job Description & Accomplishments
1) To conduct and supervise detailed hydrogeological and water resources assessment
studies of secondary water resources (aquifers and reservoirs). The major tasks
include the preparation of a fieldwork plan, supervision of drilling operation, collection of aquifer data from exploration wells, review, and supervision of hydrological and groundwater modeling work activities, and updating all previous models of the Ministry
with the help of new hydrogeological data.
2) Investigation and exploration of suitable sites for aquifer storage and recharge (ASR) and managed aquifer recharge (MAR) using hydrological, geological, and remote sensing techniques for stormwater and Treated sewage effluent (TSE).
3) Conduct and supervise geotechnical and hydrogeological investigations to estimaterisks
and expected storage volumes.
4) To supervise and review the hydraulic design of wastewater reuse schemes including
main trunk lines, pumping stations, reservoirs, and drainage networks.
