I joined V3 Middle East in position of Project Manager to manage Design and Construction stages of Radisson Blue Hotel in Riyadh Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC) as a fast track project.
* Radisson Blu Hotel is 8 stories high Building with a total built-up area of 27, 000 m2 and initial budget of 65 million USD.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of the Project Management Plan.
Preparation of the Milestone Schedule for the entire Project and updating the same in a monthly basis.
Preparation of the Project Cash Flow and Cost Plan showing the Potential Change Orders and identifying the Budget at Completion accordingly.
Preparation of the Project Value Engineering Assessment.
Take responsibility for the Risk assessment and advising the required mitigation actions.
Management of the Packages Tenders, Issue the Request for Proposals to the bidders and negotiate their proposals up to awarding action.
Preparation of the contracts for the awarded bidders.
Responsible for the set up and functioning of the Project Control System for the entire Project.
Monitor Consultants and Contractors work progress and identifying issues of concern and advising the Corrective actions accordingly.
Implementation of the Quality and Safety Plans for the construction activities on site.
Review the Consultants and Contractors Claims and negotiate the same prior raising recommendation to the client.
Preparation of the monthly report for the entire project to the client.
Attend the meetings with the client board and deliver the required presentations.
Dammam North Housing Project - Ministry of Housing, Dammam, Saudi Arabia
*Parsons Corporation is an international company based in USA with branch in Saudi Arabia “SAPL” providing the Project Management and Engineering consultancy services to the clients, especially for the infrastructure projects.
*I joined Parsons in position of Project Control Manager in the project of Dammam North Housing Project.
*The Dammam North Housing project is an Infrastructure project owned by the MoH and is being managed by Parsons. The area to be developed is 3, 934, 234 square meter with budget of 200 million USD as ongoing activities.
The ongoing project phase is to construct the infrastructure of 1500 km utilities networks to deliver more than 4, 000 plots as villas and other buildings in addition to the public services and landscapes.
Responsibilities:
Acting as Deputy Project Manager to replace the Project Manager during his absence.
Attend periodic meetings with the Minister of Housing, Minister Secretary and high level managements meetings.
Participate in preparation of the Project Management Plan.
Take responsibility for the Risk assessment and advising the required mitigation actions.
Responsible for the set up and functioning of the Project Control System for the entire Project.
Preparation of the Milestone Schedule for the entire Project and updating of the same on a weekly basis.

King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) - Rabigh with “Emaar”.
*KAEC project is designed to be future city for the youth Saudi generation. It has six components: a seaport, an industrial district, education and healthcare zones, a financial island, resort and residential area In addition to the infrastructure utilities and services for the entire project, with overall budget of 27 billion USD and 2 billion USD as ongoing activities during the mentioned period.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the set up and functioning of the Project Control System for the residential area Project.
Preparation of the Milestone Schedule for the Project and updating of the same on a weekly basis.
Assembly and submission of the monthly report for the project.
Review of contractors’ weekly schedule updates prior to the progress meeting and identifying issues of concern regarding the progress of work and advising the Construction Manager accordingly.
Attend weekly meetings with contractors and review schedule updates.
King Saud University Endowment, Riyadh
*The King Saud University Endowment Project is a large commercial project consists of nine towers, built on more than 190, 000 square meters. The project includes a 5 stars hotel (16 Floors) in addition to two towers dedicated for residential suites (15/18 Floors) that will be operated by the management of the 5 stars hotel. Furthermore, the development includes medical tower (12 Floors) on King Khalid road across the university medical complex with budget of 600 million USD with Zero Profit.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the set up and functioning of the Project Control System for the entire Project.
Preparation of the Master and Detailed Schedules for the entire Project and updating of the same on a weekly basis.
Preparation and submission of the weekly and monthly reports for the entire project.
Take responsibility for the Risk assessment and advising the required mitigation actions.
Identifying the critical issues and areas of concern.
Review of weekly schedule updates prior to the progress meeting and identifying issues of concern regarding the progress of work including the engineering and procurement and advising the Engineers and the Sites Managers accordingly.
Attend weekly meetings with the client and review schedule updates.
Review Claims pertaining to the EOT and negotiate the same with the Subcontractors.
Preparation and submission of the project Claims pertaining to the Extension of Time and negotiate the same with the client and consultants.
King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), Riyadh
*The King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) is projected to be among Riyadh's most outstanding landmarks. It ranks the first across the Middle East in terms of its size, order, and technical specifications; what makes it comparable to the analogous world class financial hubs.
Construction of this huge complex is underway, by leaps and bounds, on a parcel (1.6 million square meters area and budget of 7 billion USD)
*Turner participated in the KAFD as a project management advisor to “SBG” the EPC contractor of the Project.
Responsibilities:
Preparation the Master Schedule for the entire Project which includes 30 parcels with 60 towers excluded the pilot towers.
Attend weekly meetings with consultants, suppliers and subcontractors to review schedule updates.
Take responsibility for the Risk assessment and advising the required mitigation actions.
Shams Ar-Riyadh, Riyadh with Dar Al Arkan
*Shams ar-Riyadh project is a large, pre-planned residential community on 5.5 hectares of previously undeveloped land. The Project includes development of all grading and infrastructure to serve up to 3, 200 residential villas, 18 mosques, 14 schools, shopping centres and small retail centres, recreational facilities and parks, a medical building, and various Municipal Service Buildings. When completed, this project will encompass more than 1.8 million square meters of built-up space with planned budget of 2 billion USD.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the set up and functioning of the Project Control System for the entire Project, including the Prolog System.
The assembly and submission of monthly report for the project.
Preparation of the Master Schedule for the Project and updating of the same on a weekly basis.
Review of contractors’ weekly schedule updates prior to the progress meeting and identifying issues of concern regarding the progress of work and advising the Construction Managers accordingly.
Maintenance and updating of the Project Management Plan
Implementation and maintenance of a document control system in consultation with the Project Engineer and the Contracts Administrator.
Take responsibility for the Risk assessment and advising the required mitigation actions.
Review Claims pertaining to the EOT and negotiate the same with the contractor prior raising recommendation to the client.
Khafji Joint Operation “KJO” Project
*Saudi Oger Limited “SOL” based in Saudi Arabia is the Saudi branch of Oger International, providing the construction services as main contractor for the mega projects.
* Khafji Joint operations Project objective is to provide new facilities to replace existing Khafji Joint Operation facilities with budget of 600 million USD including:

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Project Manager, provide day-to-day direction to the Construction, Engineering and Procurement.
