Customize and promote ASGC’s standards and procedures for project controls including Methods, Schedule, Cost, Estimating and Risk Management that satisfy Company’s requirements.
Lead the Cost Engineering process through Cost Estimating, Budgetary & Control for Company’s new cost control system. Duties include creating cost code structure, development of estimates, preparation of Baseline Budget, forecast & trend reports, change control management, evaluation and analysis.
Work on resolution of projects technical engineering difficulties and complex control problems to make sure that project’s objectives are met.
Develop logic network planning using Critical Path Method for all project aspects including engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning in consistence with project execution plan and methodologies.
Interpret the demands of the project in terms of labor, materials, and equipment in addition to technical challenges and develop technical proposals to optimize earned values.
Provide effective, accurate and timely reporting for senior management.
Alert of significant irregularities, trends and variances in both time and cost and suggest technical engineering corrective actions.
Perform comprehensive analyses on variances between actual and plan/budget/forecast/target results with especial emphasis technical complications and resolution proposals.
Provide gaudiness to Project controls team member in both time and cost aspects.
Review the technical and commercial proposals of Sub-Contractors and advise the management on their suitability.
Lead Project Controls team through development, goal setting and performance assessment of team members and providing opportunities for cross-training and exposure to various project controls areas of expertise.
Supervise and participate in developing logic network planning using Critical Path Method for all project aspects including engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning in consistence with project execution plan and methodologies.
Fully anticipate and interpret the demands of the project in terms of labor, materials, equipment as well as technical challenges
Provide effective, accurate and timely reporting for project management, senior management, joint venture partners and clients.
Determine significant irregularities, trends and variances and suggest corrective action.
Prepare Extension of Time analysis & Claims/Variation Claims and follow up participate in negotiations with Client till issue Addendum/Variation Order.
Sort contractual disputes related to time and cost with subcontractors.
Prepare fully compliant technical and commercial Proposals for clients change orders and consider its time impact.
Analyze sub-contractors schedules updates and progress reports, clarify issues when required, address and escalate any deviations.
Attend monthly project progress review meetings and appraise project progress status and highlight Bottle - Necks / Critical areas.

Duties include creating cost code structure, development of estimates, preparation of Baseline Budget, forecast & trend reports, change control management, evaluation and analysis.

Establish and Maintain a Master Control Schedule to monitor and manage the project as one entity.
Develop the project integrated schedules consistent with KBR Global Project Process Schedule.
Develop project Services and Controls Plans and Procedures for planning and scheduling, reflecting both KBR and OCI roles and responsibilities.
Preparation of the Project Execution Plan and management of detailed schedules covering activities through to the start of operation.
Develop and implement a progress measurement system which interface effectively and consistently with KBR progress measurement productivity trending and forecasting system QTRAX.
Provide clear scheduling bases and direction to the contractors to ensure proper planning and physical progress measurement.
Pro-actively manage interfaces between sub-contractors to ensure that the planning effort remains ahead of the work.
Ensures that the impacts from project management change process are fully reflected in the project Master Control Schedule & Budget.
With the Operations team, develop the Commissioning plan into a fully detailed schedule outlining resources and system completion strategy.
Monitor the Contractors control and reporting to assure that they meet project performance requirements, including providing accurate and timely monthly reporting of actual and planned progress, forecast milestones and completion dates.
Perform logic network planning using Critical Path Method for the development of all plans and schedules.
Prepare the project’s baseline schedule/ three weeks look ahead schedule using, including the relevant needed project resources (Material, Labor and equipment) - according to internal standards, technical and contractual requirements - review it with the PM for final approval.
Monitor the implementation of the schedule and the three weeks look ahead schedules (including the progress of execution, the subcontractors work, the shop drawings and materials submissions and follow-up on procurement activities as well as the provision and use of resources), point out and analyze any identified delays/discrepancies, propose appropriate solutions to prevent exceeding the project completion date.
Ensures that the impacts from project management change process are fully reflected in the Master Control Schedule, contractors and interface plans and schedules.
With the Operations team, develop the Commissioning plan into a fully detailed schedule outlining resources and system completion strategy.
Monitor the Sub-contractors performance to assure that they meet project overall schedule, including providing accurate and timely monthly reporting of actual and planned progress, forecast milestones and completion dates.
Preparation of JV invoices using the pre-approved weighting system and milestones.
Review and approve subcontractor’s invoices.
Progress Reporting to management and updating of dashboard

Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives;
Checking drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per project specifications.
Interpreting of design drawings, project specifications and contract documents.
Liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of subcontractors.
Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site.
Preparing reports as required.
Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
