Step back to technical career, I have joined NTRA (National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority) - Radiomonitoring division to manage technical measurements activities of the allocated spectrum bands to ensure that all spectrum users are following all parameters licensed to them by NTRA.

And to do that task the below steps were followed:

1) Developing of a plan for technical measurements of spectrum monitoring.

2) Daily monitoring of the use of the radio spectrum as it is tabulated, using fixed monitoring stations/equipment.


3) Providing monitoring data to Spectrum Monitoring Director concerning the actual use of frequencies and bands, verification of proper technical and operational characteristics of transmitted signals & detection/identification of illegal transmitters.

4) Performance of the test and measurement of new wireless systems and/or other systems delivered to the NTRA for inspection.

5) Performance of technical analysis of the detected signals modern/interference using all of the fixed monitoring stations and available test equipment capabilities.

6) Introduction and update of development proposals for enhancing technical measurements capabilities of spectrum monitoring in accordance to state of art test equipment developments.

7) Preparations for all required RFPs for system upgrades.

8) Participating in all bidding & negotiation phases including technical, commercial & legal aspects.
