Responsible for developing contracting business in a number of Countries including Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Jordan, Djibouti, South of Sudan and Algeria .
Duties involve the following
Identifying projects and cultivating business contacts wit authorities and prospective clients and consultants in the North African countries
Liaising with corporate Business Development Manager and Regional Manager for coordination of business activities and guidance for approval as needed.
Preparing Pre-qualification and expression of interest for multidiscipline projects including marine and coastal, Power Plants, Railway, Industrial, water and wastewater, roads and bridges and various infrastructure works.
Also, responsible for preparing various presentation for projects together with meeting various Clients and promoting the company image.
Overseas the business development team in maintaining updated cvs of key personnel as per the company standards and preparation of specialized prospects and projects lists and a regional photographic archives .
Overseas various classifications and registration procedures with various Authorities and Clients.

It involves managing and presenting design works by other Hyder offices & preparing monthly reports, attending Client meetings and follow up project deliverables and report on progress. Project amount: 132.0 Million Qatar Riyals .

Supreme Council of Family Affairs SCFA: Detailed Design of a building of 5 floors including car park design and all utilities design works. Our work includes liaison with Qatar Petroleum and different Governmental Department.

Duties involve preparing Technical and financial proposal together with expression of interest for multidiscipline projects including infrastructure, highway, EIA, Asset valuation and capacity building. Also, responsible for following up projects won and managing these projects with regard to progress, quality, time, health and safety, liaising with Clients and other overseas offices . The main Clients are the World Bank, African Development Bank and German Bank(KFW) together with the Government relevant Ministry or Authority.

•Ensure for all the listed projects that they are carried out efficiently, within budget, on time and in accordance with the company system.
•To co-ordinate internal and external interfaces, liaise with the Client and other Governmental Department, plan and monitor progress against program.

Road Works : Permanent Residential Complex at Habshan

As Site Engineer responsible for all road construction work (preparing RFI, taking necessary tests at site and laboratory under consultant supervision, handing over to both consultant and third party.

Also responsible for road projects and quantity surveying.

LPG Section : Higher College of Technology (Al Ain, Men)
As Site Engineer responsible for installation of complete gas distribution systems (associated gases are hydrogen helium, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, LPG and compressed air) for college laboratories, including complete supply pipelines, safe road crossing to facilitate correct operation of the systems (getting WED approval for installed materials, preparing RFI for pipelines laying and pressure testing required for handing over to consultant and civil defence).

Arranging detailed design LPG drawings under AutoCad Version 12, dealing with consultants arranging submittals, site co-ordination.
