Job Description:
▪ The scope of work included wide range of tasks involved in Supervision, monitoring, and inspection and ensuring the proper installation and
functioning of all MEP System activities of underground Station carried out by contractor on site on behalf of employer in accordance with
specification and reviewing and understand the project scope and specification along with the ITPs, drawings, and method statements for each
work activity, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
▪ Responsible for Supervision, monitoring, and inspection all aspects of underground Station 1B4, 1C1& 1C2, which include but not limited to
communication all Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing Systems: - LV (Low Voltage) Power System: Electrical systems for powering equipment
and appliances, Lighting System: Design, installation, and testing of lighting fixtures. BMS (Building Management System): Monitors and controls
building functions like HVAC and lighting. UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply): Provides backup power during outages. Earthing & Bonding
System: Ensures electrical safety by grounding equipment. Installation and testing of elevators and escalators. Fire Alarm System, FM200
System: Fire suppression system using a clean agent. Installation and testing of water supply and drainage systems. Firefighting System, HVAC
System Maintains comfortable indoor temperature and air quality. Tunnel Ventilation: Provides fresh air circulation in tunnels.
▪ Under the lead of the RE do the required reviews and approvals for all Contractors submittals like (WIRs, MIRs, SORs, NCRs, Shop drawings, etc.)
Verify the accuracy of contractors’ shop and as-built drawings, CWP, materials submittals, tie-in procedures, project schedules, work permits
through ACONEX and coordinate with the concerned departments for obtaining their approval and/or their comments.
▪ Identifying site issues/defected work or non-compliance/approved materials and raising non-conformance report (NCR) after consulting the RE
and the QA Engineer assigned to the workplace. Also follow up the NCR on-site once the Close Out actions have been agreed.
▪ Providing the RE and the Construction Manager with site information as and when required and Reporting to the Construction
Manager/Resident Engineer and be able to undertake duties as assigned with the minimum of supervision.
▪ Liaising with the site management to ensure effective co-ordination of the works with regards to inspections and investigations and ensuring
that regular inspection requests from the contractor are complied with and applied consistently.
▪ Conduct regular (daily) site visits and supervise, verify the installation of electrical works ensuring compliance with the contract documents.
▪ Attending authority inspection is as per the project schedule and attending all testing & commissioning of electrical services.
▪ Participate in equipment FATs, commissioning, and start-up as required.
▪ Support HSE with risk assessments during commissioning phase and ensuring implementation and adherence to the requirements of the HSE
management System including notify management of unsafe working conditions.
