Key tasks and roles
•Coordinating the day to day operations of the Network Infrastructure team.
•Maintain the MPLS Architecture across the Network of INTELS NIG ltd
•Assists in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting IT infrastructure company wide.
•Implements network security at the corporate level as established by corporate IT Manager.
•Configuring, Managing and Deploying Cisco Network Devices Switches, Routers, PIX firewall and Cisco ASA
•Configuring and managing company Cisco Wireless Controller and associated Access Points, configuring, managing and deploying D-Link wireless Access points
•Configuring and Managing Cisco ACS server to manage and secure Cisco Devices in the company Network.
•Document the network topology logically and physically in order to quickly access information needed to make purchases and diagnose problems.
•Create and maintain a remote monitoring system of the network using SNMP and other network management tools in order to maximize network eficiency using Cisco Works and Solar winds Management Software's.
•Work with consultants in designing and installations of LAN and WAN network
•Liaise with company Internet Service Provider (ISP) on the services rendered and ways of improving such services as required to meet the company business requirement
