1. Roles and Responsibilities
The NRC Jordan Youth Programme in Host Communities supports Syrian refugee and vulnerable
Jordanian youth (aged 16-26) to be active members of their communities through provision of
training, recreational activities, youth-led social initiatives, and volunteering. The role of Youth
Technical Assistant is required to support the youth social development and community
engagement components of the Youth Programme.
The Youth Technical Assistant will undertake and support the NRC Youth Programme by:
participating in implementation on a daily basis in the Youth Programme activities in partnership
with Community Based Organisations, supporting the education process, conducting field
outreach with the community, and monitoring day-to-day implementation and coordination with
the Youth Team Leader.
