Safety Officer responsible for: Access to workplaces including appropriate site signage and safe access; adequate lighting; safe storage of materials; ensuring proper usage of personal protective equipment; monitoring of adherence to safety measures with regard to excavation works; confined space, issuing entry permits to implements safety measures suite to site conditions in order to follow-up proper workmanship in accordance with contract specifications.
Projects accomplished: Multi- Storey Buildings and water and sewerage network system including STP with aeration/secondary/final effluent/ chlorination tanks etc.
Duties and Responsibilities: Precise implementation of approved EHS Plan.
* Managing safety procedures at site as per EHSMS Safety manual
* Conducting Safety Training/Awareness program as per Training calendar to all categories of site employees.
* Supervision of all critical activities
* Monitoring of PTW System.
* Conducting Tool box talks.
* Conduct inspections and prepare reports.
* Convene weekly workers meeting and discuss all EHS issues
* Team member for TRA (Task Risk Assessment)
* Team member for EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment)
* Conduct all critical toolbox talks along with work supervisor (s)
* Implementation of STAART program.
* Conduct behavioural safety audits and report to the management.
* Conduct internal EHS audit as per the frequencies mentioned.
* Attend management review meeting and brief them about all EHS concerns and effectiveness of the system.
* Train and conduct mock emergency drills, analyse the drill and ensure corrective measures on the flaws noted.
* Submit monthly reports to the Client and Company management.
