Carry out technical operations in accordance with the company systems and resolve technical issues as they
occur.
 Assist and update the Design Leads on resource requirements and delivery status on all assigned projects.
 Undertake quality control in accordance with Ashghal standards and any specific project requirements.
 Assist in the preparation of the Project set-up folders and the appropriate CAD standards that will guide the
preparation of the drawings.
 Prepare estimates for the completion of required deliverable.
 Review and coordination of all design/Shop drawing/As-buit related submissions by the contractor
 Coordinate all technical queries with the team as well as the project design consultant Parson for Al-Jahhaniya
Interchange
 Maintain register log of all incoming design changes initiated by the designer/client are coordinated,
 Lead in the review and approval of contractor’s technical submissions/shop drawings in line with delivery
schedule requirements.
 Identify any gaps or shortcomings and coordinate any necessary changes with the designer/client
 Ensure that design interfaces both within the project R.O.W and with adjacent projects are properly coordinated
and documented.
 Coordinate site based resources (Surveyors, Inspectors) to ensure efficient and effective deployment a cross site
 Liaise with the SRE, RE, ARE and site Inspectors to ensure they are aware of potential changes to the design
and potential impact
 Review contractor’s temporary works designs in coordination with the resident engineers and Coordinate with
health and safety manager/engineer for any design issues relating to safety of construction or operation
 Liaise with contractors on a regular basis and build informal relationships whilst maintaining compliance with
formal communication routes adopted by the Supervision Consultant
 Attend regular meetings and discussed with the contractor design engineer regarding the progress of projects and
about solving the problems that arose during implementation of the projects.
 Provide feedback to Management regarding requirement of new software or modification of existing software
 Complete all drafting assignments on schedule and within man-hour and cost budgets
 Perform front-end layout and design of complex systems and equipment applicable to the respective discipline.
 Perform interdisciplinary reviews and provides coordination of data to ensure a compatible design.
 Provide direction to a team of checking personnel, ensuring the mathematical accuracy of the drawings
produced.
 Responsible for the timely and quality production of scheme drawings for Dukhan Central Highway and
Upgrade of Al-Jahhaniya Interchange project.

 Produce drawings using computer-assisted drafting systems (CAD)
 Draft plans and detailed drawings for structures, installations, and construction projects such as highways, sewage disposal systems working from sketches or notes.
 Draw maps, diagrams, and profiles, using cross-sections and surveys, to represent elevations, topographical contours, subsurface formations and structures.
 Correlate, interpret, and modify data obtained from topographical surveys, well logs, and geophysical prospecting reports.
 Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from civil engineers to ensure that they conform to design concepts.
 Preparation of Rail/LRT/MRT/Tram layouts and design guided by Engineers.
 Preparation of Road profiles as per the standards & benchmarks.
 Preparation of Road Marking and Road Signs Drawing
 Development of detailed drawings, such as plan and sections for Roads Layouts for the proposed improvements in road profile
 Junctions Improvement, Bus Lay bye for main roads, Design for Parking areas, Pedestrian crossing design, Traffic signal design, Road Maintenance works and utilities for all type of roads. Responsible includes preparing Layouts of Gravity sewer, surface water, Pressure pipe lines, Irrigation & Potable water. Civil and Mechanical works related to pumping stations, chambers and manholes.
 Draughting Manhole sketches and spread sheets of Levels. Making Coordination Drawings for Potable Network, Irrigation Network, Electrical Network, Communication Utilities, Street lighting
 Producing working drawing in line with the international design standard. Responsibilities include preparation of Concept Design, Schematic & Construction drawings, Detail drawing using Auto CAD.
Landscape:
 Drafting all landscape packages & tenders for Al Raha Beach Eastern Precincts
 Designing the Softscape and path layouts (with minimal input by Landscape designer) for Lu'Luat Boulevard and IC-6 Bridge & Intersection.
 Providing construction details and sections in a technically accurate, yet visually presentable manner (Sometimes for Client / Local Authority Approval)
 Preparing the layout for Landscape work including softscape & planting, hardscape paving, retaining walls, levels and grading
 Final Drawing updates (based on designer / Client comments) and issuing officially to Document Control, sometimes within short deadlines.
 Calculation of plant numbers and densities. Providing accurate summaries of hard surfacing for Bill of Quantities & Tender Pricing (with no mistakes)

 Designing of the plant layout as per the land area
 Process planning for construction to be manufactured
 Municipal Drawings of India
 Functional analysis of Structural drawings
 Collecting all drawing detail for the entire project
 Preparation of layout and foundation drawings
 Daily meeting with the design
 Clarifying the dough’s with engineer adding own ideas for any changes.

 Footings with details given by the Engineer
 Plint beam, Beam layout, slab steel
 Details of the beam lay out with extra rods.
