PROFILE IN DETAILS (Income & Tax Referrals):
Income and Tax Referrals is a sub process under Treasury and Securities Services. The team deal with amendment of income and tax returns paid to JPMorgan’s clients on their financial instruments.
When an income or tax amendment is announced in the market by the agent bank or issuer, we do investigation of the scenario, confirm details from JPMorgan income system and then will notify the client regarding the same.
The team will go ahead and process the amendment after the notice period as notified. Once the income is amended, tax returns are also amended accordingly. We also dealt reconciliation of Nostro accounts and FX booking
I started my career with Infosys BPO, where I worked as a part of Washington Mutual Project in Credit Report Corrections Dept. I was responsible for analysing payment history and do corrections in the credit reporting of the client upon receipt of their dispute through one of the four credit bureaus in USA (EQUIFAX, INNOVIS, EXPERIAN and TRANS UNION).
